Started. It's finance. More house of cards than Game of thrones.

Enjoyed it.

 

Written by Harlen Coben. He knows how to add twists.

 

Watched The tunnel - okay but not great.

 

Watching The Path - okay, has jesse from BB in it.

Enjoying the Vikings. I wondered why it was on the History Channel but apparently it is based on Norse Legend.

Just checked and there may be a 5th series of 20 episodes. I am near the end of the second. Ragnar lothbrok was supposed to be the son of Thor. Bit more bloodthirsty than JC who walked around in a robe and sandals. At least the Vikings were honest about their gods wanting them to be bloodthirsty.

I quite like the comparison of gods parts. The traditions and rituals are portrayed well.

Watching that new comedy on Sky 1 called Rovers.

I thought it would have been funnier than what it has been. Craig Cash seems to be trying to hard in it.

 

Watched ep 1 total shite. Will still give it another chance

It's not great but it's watchable. Ep2 was better. Especially the guy who sits with his blind mum. Gave me a proper lol moment.

Same guy was in The Detectorists, which I highly recommend for anyone that hasn't seen it.

I'm really in bits watching episodes of Night Man.

It's such a totally cheesy and cheap 90ies series where logic just doesn't apply and good scriptwriting has gone amiss from the start.

 

Still, Glen A. Larson produced it.

Wallander - thankfully that must be the last series.

 

Tyrant - not sure yet. Has some good ideas but I fear it'll be Americanised.

Yeah Bloodline was good when it got going, I'm looking forward to that. 

Also midway through series 4 of House of Cards, enjoying it more than 2+3, think series 1 will always be the best though. 

 

thoughts on series 2 so far?

 

 

Watched first 3 episodes so far and it's picked up quicker than first series did at the same stage. Think it helps that we already know the history of the family and the plot so far though. I think the character of John has got better as well

I watched the first few of series 1. Then forgot to watch the rest. Take it is worth going back too

 

If you only watched the first couple then you will be in for a massive shock.
