Friday Night Project, FIFA 06, a 6 pack of Pepsi Max and a family bag of Doritos for one. Immaculate vibes after a week glued to sixth form education

As a teacher or a student?

Or a fan of Waterloo Road?

I watched all seven episodes of Disclaimer on Apple TV. It was good, although the plot twist was quite obvious by the end of Episode 5. Worth a watch though.

Just recently finished a full rewatch of Breaking Bad for the first time since my original watch around 10 years ago. I'd grown to consider it a relatively distant third in my list of best ever shows behind Sopranos and The Wire but I'm gonna have to upgrade it somewhat as it's pretty much as good as both of them.

It's certainly more intense in places and in Ozymandias has the single greatest episode in tv history by an absolute mile. The gist of the opening scene in the desert aside id forgotten a lot of what happened but it really is absolutely and horribly brilliant in every single scene. It surely will never be bettered. Very tempted to finally give Better Call Saul a watch now.

You wont regret it, Better Call Saul is up there on my list. It gets better and better by season.

Second this. Without spoiling it, it provides a pre and post BB context too.

Well, Sir David has said Professor Brian Cox is his natural successor. Hasn't really got the gravitas yet, but perhaps that will come with time and he's certainly good at imparting science.

Without even knowing he'd said that, he is without question from the current options who have experience. Up there with Dave for making me drop off in front of the TV because of how he talks lol

Just finished Ludwig. Not the most exciting show in the world but it's an easy watch, well written and good performances from David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin.

Anna Maxwell Martin is a wonderful actor

Yes. The first episode of the second series was as good as the original series. There was an underlying sense of menace. The court of Henry 8 was not for the faint hearted.

My thoughts too. As I was watching it I was wondering if those in the King's court ever felt safe. I imagine the word "anxiety" wasn't bandied about much but there must have been serious MH fallout among those who fell out of favour.

I can't imagine what his wives must've felt when they found themselves betrothed.

Thomas Cromwell, a serial manipulator, played so well played by Mark Rylance.

Yeah give it time, it starts a little slowly but picks up pace and gradually some of the Breaking Bad characters

are introduced, there’s also some great characters that aren’t in Breaking Bad like Lalo Salamanca.

Got round to watching 3 Body Problem.

Interesting enough but it was starting to feel dragged out. It reminded me of those old sci-fi shows where nothing much would happen and they'd be cancelled before you got any answers or resolution.

The Asian elderly woman was bugging me for ages as to what I'd seen her in before so had to look her up on imdb. Keiko from Star Trek Next Generation!! Don't think I've ever seen her in anything else since then. Weird.

Anyone seen season 2 of Sherwood? I got about a third of the way through episode 4 and called it quits.

Loved season 1 but this is a massive drop off. The old characters are still interesting but most of the new cast are nowhere near the same level. Clunky writing, ludicrous plotlines and to top it off some of the worst attempted East Midlands accents you will ever hear.

Looks like our decision to quit after the first episode of s2 ep1 was correct.

I watched. At the time it was OK.
