Astonished, only been to Bavaria 3 times but I can honestly say I've never met a German I didn't like, very talkative, will have a beer and talk about footy all day long. One of them did set fire to my Hamburg scarf in a bar but it was all in good fun.

I've always found the people from any country that go to Greece/Spain on holiday in the summer arent really representative of the general population. Same as watching boozed up Britain in Magaluf isn't what we all behave like.

Jordan Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Since we're talking about nothing relevant to the game, Bayern came over to Giants Stadium to play the MetroStars in a friendly right after they won the Champions League in 2001. All the same banners that were at the San Siro were there. Biggest fight I've ever seen at a Metro game. Their fans and "La Doce" behind the opposite goal from me started brawling in the stands before kickoff, then the stadium security and New Jersey state troopers ran down into the melée and started beating the shit out of whomever they could grab. I saw the Bayern fans at halftime, and honestly, they were the goofiest-looking bunch of bastards. Metro won, 2-0 So, I think Chelsea will be outplayed for substantial portions of this game but will take their chances and win. I think their forwards can do a job on the Bayern back line.

I dont mind him, i dont like the slapstick aproach of him and inuendos but he does give a good insight to the fans. Many times ive watched on itv and it will show the fans antics like flares or jumping around, where as sky seem to block all that and just show the football which to some may be a good thing but its good to watch a game and get drawn in by the atmosphere.
