Leicfox Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Bayern didn't deserve to lose but that's what happens when you don't take your chances, Ask Blackpool. Well done to Chelsea.
buzzy Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Yes!!!!! Another one up the arse for the experts. ****ing disgrace finish 5th in the league will be in champions league next season and knocking spurs out .**** off chelsea
MC Prussian Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Incredible piece of football this was. The fading old Chelsea team wins it at last, great finish to top it all off for Cech, Drogba, Lampard, Cole, Ferreira, Malouda, ... All over 30. So chuffed for Di Matteo, hometown boy, interim coach wins Champions League. Incredible.
Corky Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Drogba is an incredible big-game player. What an astonishing record.
Kitchandro Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 I can't believe what I've just watched. What a ridiculous season. Man Utd, born winners, lose the title from 8 points ahead to perennial chokers Manchester City, with 2 goals in stoppage time. Bayern Munich, a German team, loses on penalties, at home, to Chelsea, who finished 6th in the Premier League and had numerous players out through suspension, after being 1-0 up with 7 minutes to go and being in front in the shootout. Oh, and Schweinsteiger missed, the ice-cold German who scored the winning penalty at the Bernabau of all places. I've seen it all. Except Leicester winning the FA Cup. Harry Redknapp's had a shocking few months, misses out on the England job to someone who rates Stewart Downing and then misses out on the Champions League to London rivals who finished 2 places behind them. The question is, who was shitter, Liverpool in 2005 or Chelsea in 2012? I'm quite pleased actually. It'll piss off UEFA, and it was a bloody dramatic night, and that's what I want to see. It's good when underdogs win.
Corky Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 ****ing disgrace finish 5th in the league will be in champions league next season and knocking spurs out .**** off chelsea They deserve the chance to defend their trophy. Would be a total contradiction of the name if the champions of it weren't allowed back in.
Fox in the North Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Bayern you threw it away, but credit to Chelsea for beating them, Napoli and barca. And drogba didn't get sent off and a german missed a penalty.....crazy stuff.
Captain... Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Can't begrudge someone like lampard his moment, well done Chelsea true backs to the wall job, bayern should have won the game but they didn't, credit to Drogba, Cole and cech too, and the patched up back 4.
Finnegan Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Robben and Gomez poor on the night and a terrible spectacle as a game. I imagine there'll be people with a Chelsea bias claiming it was some sort of heroic effort but you set up with ten defenders and you aren't playing football you're just spoiling and hoping for a bit of luck. 20 odd chances created to something like 6?

Yes, would rather see Lampard lift the trophy than Terry, who didn't play through his own irresponsibility.

You have to play to your strengths. The only statistic that counts is the score
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 They could've had 9 million chances but it was still 1-1 and they still lost. Where you not listening to Professor Neville? Bayern could've done everything humanly possible. This was the work of the blue angels. The stars. Something is happening.

Anorak Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 At least they didn't win a proper European Cup, just the ungodly CL.
21st Century Fox Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 I wonder if George Osbourne took a prawn sandwich and coke packed lunch with him.
purpleronnie Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 I celebrated the drogba penalty as if leicester had just won it. weird.
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Yeah, I was proper nervous for the shoot out. Usually I enjoy them because it's a bit of excitement and I'm not arsed who wins, but I really wanted Chelsea to do it. And it had to be Drogba. Great story. English football is shit.
Danno Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Plastic club, plastic fans.. Piss off Chelsea. And that diving **** Drogba and the wife shagger, racist and suicide causer Terry.
body102 Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 And a chelsea flag had 'Over land and sea and Leicester ' on it so we had our own little bit of history in the final . Glad they still keep the little bit of rivalry going
Captain... Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 I celebrated the drogba penalty as if leicester had just won it. weird. I wasn't quite that fervent but I did pump my fist. I do think it will really show what kind of a club Chelsea are if they don't offer Di Matteo and Drogba new contracts. Any good will towards Chelsea was undone by seeing Terry lift the trophy and the way the players were too busy trying to get their mugs on tv to shake all the hands and allow lampard to lift the trophy properly. Bosingwa ****ing hijacked the lifting of the trophy the monobrowed cvnt
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2012 Posted 19 May 2012 Wish the mass amounts of photographers would feck off now and let them celebrate with their teammates, fans and trophy. Every time a player moves there's 50 cameramen in their faces.
