Viva Espana!

Although I think the French could spring a surprise. This striker-less Spain side haven't looked that great so far. They really miss David Villa.

Ive had France to win it all. Bit optimistic but they definately have the personnel to get there.

Apparently Spain are to employ the no striker formation again.

I used to like Spain, I hope to god they lose tonight, really disliking them now, boring to watch, do everyone a favour and get knocked out! (That's not to say I like France though! lol)

From the BBC;

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque opts to make one change from the side which beat Croatia 1-0 in their last group game. He goes for the no-striker formation he employed against Italy as midfielder Cesc Fabregas replaces striker Fernando Torres.

France make four changes. Centre-back Laurent Koscielny, right-back Anthony Reveillere, central midfielder Yohan Cabaye and left midfielder Florent Malouda come into the side as Philippe Mexes is suspended. Samir Nasri, Alou Diarra and Hatem Ben Arfa all drop to the bench.

No strikers again :( this will be like playing Fifa without the circle button :( I kind of want Spain to go out now, but on the other hand, I don't want France through. Maybe if Ribery ****s Busquets up the arse on the pitch in front of the world, UEFA will have to chuck both teams out.

Supposed to be a yawn but crying out for Photoshop.

They may have no strikers/forwards but it hasn't stopped them attacking and scoring.

Spain are great... if you're a Spain fan.

Personally, they bore me to death. Little urge forward with all their composure, don't allow the opposition to do anything (creative).

The lacklustre atmosphere inside the stadium doesn't help, either.

*Yawn*

Absolutely agree.

Everything about this match is dull.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. On a plus note however, the media's constant wanking off to Spain's "style" of football is beginning to subside thankfully. Bubble beginning to burst?

It would add to the entertainment if France could actually string more than two passes together and some of their ball control is not even championship level, I keep looking for the bag of cement.
