Right this might be the campest topic I've ever made but here' goes.

I need a haircut as my hair is quite thick and long.

I don't want to go to my barber because he'll probably laugh at me if I ask him to style it.

I don't want to go to one of them £50 stylist places through principle.

I don't really know what I want but I don't want it dead short as it makes me look 12. I'm thinking Mario Gomez'esk but I dunno if I have the face for it.

Anyone know any decent places for mens styling, I've used the same barber for like 15 years? And is there a less camp way of saying styling because it's totally not doing it for me girlfriend.

I don't know if they still do it but STRIDE used to train hairdressers. There were some really gorgeous girls there when I used to do maintainence around the building. It used to be free so it's worth asking at Belgrave Gate

My sister works for a new salon on upperton road she's really good and used to work for George's. She only charges £10. Also they'll give you free orange juice, tea, beer, crisps and biscuits.

Depends on what suits you, and what you feel comfortable with

Dont over elaborate it and make a big thing of it, because then you are being camp

Ask some people who know you and what you look like too

Just go to a salon. I haven't been to a barbers since I was 15. Fit bird washing my hair and massaging my scalp and getting the odd boob bump here and there is well worth £30.

If it's thick and long - sell it for wigs, make some money out of having your hair cut.

Yes sell some to Rooney so he can have it weaved in , wouldn't it be great to know some of your hair is playing for England ?

Indy in leicester near pilot is really good. My mate works there and does half price for me so £30 to you and they're all really good and know there stuff. Problem with a £10 haircut is they just "cut it" whereas a slightly more expensive one will style it and cut your hair properly.

I had a right mop head and he shaped it perfectly so I don't look like a mop any more

Used to go to Rons. Last couple of times went to the new one on Granby Street. There is also someone at Clarence House Age Concern that does it. Probably not styled though. At 60 I still have a good head of hair and it grows fast. Makes my brothers jealous who have about lost theirs. Its going grey though. Only had it styled once back in the 70's a disco type perm.

Got a haircut yesterday. Just one piece of advise 'don't get a haircut from someone who looks younger than you'.

BTW i am 17 so my not apply to some of you.

Is that the one between Fosse Road and Narborough Road that opened a couple of months ago? With exclusively fit women working in it?

I've only ever seen women in there getting their hair done.

So yeah, do people take pictures in with them then, I never even thought of doing this? Would make things a lot easier.
