Guest shearfox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Carrick certainly seems to be playing brilliantly this season.
ScouseFox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Not really. Probably the best left-back in the Premier League right now, on par with Leighton Baines. No, he's really shit. On another note at Di Maria for the United goal. Presumably his task was to be on the post, was just stood hands on knees behind his keeper!
AKCJ Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Not really. Probably the best left-back in the Premier League right now, on par with Leighton Baines. Seriously?
Father Ted Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Anybody got a working link?! All of mine are p*ssing me off
Jimothy Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Not really. Probably the best left-back in the Premier League right now, on par with Leighton Baines. Seriously? His positioning over the last season or so has been poor and some of his decision making shocking. Absolutely nowhere near the quality of Baines, or Cole. I'd even argue Assou-Ekotto has been better. A few flicked headers from corner doesn't make a good left back.

ScouseFox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Four goals and six assists in the league so far. Best tally in his entire career at this stage of the season. And his defending is shit.
Danizen Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Not really. Probably the best left-back in the Premier League right now, on par with Leighton Baines. No way. He's scored a few goals but he's been a liability. For quite a while now. Ashley Cole is still number 1, for me.
AKCJ Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Welbeck is playing really well to be fair to him.
Guest shearfox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Welbeck is playing really well to be fair to him. He is getting into some good positions, unlucky to not have grabbed a second.

Exactly, agree with ScouseFox. First and foremost he's a defender and he's not doing that very well at the moment. It's like rating Bamba over Morgan because Bamba scores more. Every assist and goal is bonus for a defender, needs to do actual job properly first.
Jaspa Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Listening to 5live Robbie Savage is a tw@, and I left the room for no more than a minute and didnt realise Real had equalised till I read this thread
