Violence at today's game on Burnmoor St!

Did anybody see the fight in today's game?

As I was leaving the stadium they were two Peterborough fans who went down the road with the pub (sympathy rooms) anyway apparently the LCFC fan through a coin at the Peterborough fan and they were arguing. I didn't see any coin throwing myself. Anyway next thing this huge man picks the Leicester fan up above his head, slams him in to the ground and then kicks him. The police were no where in site. Hopefully the guy will report it and get the Peterborough fan done.

Thought this was gone from football...

I don't think he did. No one else saw it. He barged threw two police officers and was looking for a fight.

And wait until the grammar nazis get here.

You have just realised the fight was on Burnmoor Street?

Were you pissed at the time?

Now you have got sober again, you can remember the whereabouts :)

I saw it, and it was pretty minor. Guy got thrown to the floor and kicked once, got up, bit of posturing and shouting from others but it all seemed to calm down pretty quickly,.

Why do people keep saying its a thing of the past...dissapeared in the 80's? Its a society problem not a football one, if there was a riot inside the stadium I could understand the posts but it was a couple of idiots outside the ground...we should be thankful we have the safest and least violent fans in the world.

wait.... thought there was no police in sight? and if so, why did the police let him 'barge through'

I don't pay tax myself being a student but if i did i would be pretty hacked off

I didn't see any violence, but it sounds like the guy who threw a coin couldn't deal with us getting a good win, so he decides to celebrate by arguing with one of the P'boro fans?

You are quite right there are idiots around like this and it's not football that causes it but we already get a bad press from non football fans and behaviour from these idiots just reinforces those stereotypes that ALL football fans are thugs.
