Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Did anybody see the fight in today's game? As I was leaving the stadium they were two Peterborough fans who went down the road with the pub (sympathy rooms) anyway apparently the LCFC fan through a coin at the Peterborough fan and they were arguing. I didn't see any coin throwing myself. Anyway next thing this huge man picks the Leicester fan up above his head, slams him in to the ground and then kicks him. The police were no where in site. Hopefully the guy will report it and get the Peterborough fan done. Thought this was gone from football... I don't think he did. No one else saw it. He barged threw two police officers and was looking for a fight. And wait until the grammar nazis get here.
Jace Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 And wait until the grammar nazis get here. Glad to see I am not the only 1 confused
ADK Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I'd be scared if someone threw two police officers at me.
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 The scariest part of this thread is the grammar...

anotherharboroughfox Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I hope it was like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RyFNLHVI8c
poggypogpog Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I saw a unicorn With a leprechaun on its back!
Jace Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 With a leprechaun on its back! I saw a leprechaun at the Sunderland game
kingfox Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 You have just realised the fight was on Burnmoor Street? Were you pissed at the time? Now you have got sober again, you can remember the whereabouts
C.J Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I think Burnmoor street could be our version of Green street. Sounds good dont you think?
hbkkids Posted 19 August 2012 Author Posted 19 August 2012 Mods changed the name of the title. Also I am not joking. It happened about 15 mins after FT
Corky Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I saw it, and it was pretty minor. Guy got thrown to the floor and kicked once, got up, bit of posturing and shouting from others but it all seemed to calm down pretty quickly,.
Danizen Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 What's the name of that road with the pub that they walked down, first? Does anyone know?
Guest Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Didn't see anything on Burnmoor St, but it could've kicked off on Havelock St before the game. Oh, and if you want to pass it off as "bantoh", or think I'm being over-senstive, then you may find that I'm not alone...
bmt Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 If you start throwing coins at people then what do you expect? Gratitude

Very sad Lisa, there is no need for that sort of behaviour, apart from a sad few i thought it had all but dissapeared in the 80's????
purpleronnie Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Why do people keep saying its a thing of the past...dissapeared in the 80's? Its a society problem not a football one, if there was a riot inside the stadium I could understand the posts but it was a couple of idiots outside the ground...we should be thankful we have the safest and least violent fans in the world.
JonnyBoy Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I don't think he did. No one else saw it. He barged threw two police officers and was looking for a fight. wait.... thought there was no police in sight? and if so, why did the police let him 'barge through' I don't pay tax myself being a student but if i did i would be pretty hacked off
iamafox Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I didn't see any violence, but it sounds like the guy who threw a coin couldn't deal with us getting a good win, so he decides to celebrate by arguing with one of the P'boro fans?

You are quite right there are idiots around like this and it's not football that causes it but we already get a bad press from non football fans and behaviour from these idiots just reinforces those stereotypes that ALL football fans are thugs.
JonnyBoy Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 there is always going to be the odd few idiots scrapping, arghhhhhh. Leave it
