Struggling Relationship

It got better for a while, now it's back to square one. I spent a long time being patient and talking and listening, it worked for a while.

Suddenly out of no where she absolutely slaughtered me over a tiny thing, I said we would look after my parents dog and boom! It will ruin my plans she said. Massive row and now back to every little thing.

You breath too loud, you chew loud, stop moving/twitching (I have a muscle problem), I want to watch that program. Etc. it's always got to be her way or the high way over EVERYTHING. When I met this girl we never argued, she was my dream lass but now she is I swear autistic! Literally from he'll. Sheldon from Big Bang is the male version of her.

ARGHHHH I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW ANGRY, LONELY AND GENERALLY BUMMED OUT I FEEL.

Give her a facial.

Feel for you mate.

I know what you mean about her behaving as if she's autistic because I had the exact same thought about how my ex behaved!

In my experience, when one half of a couple becomes irrationally intolerant of the other, it's because there's something unrelated bothering them about the relationship that they don't feel comfortable talking about. It's a case of thrashing out what that is.

Didn't you once give a girl your number, but on your business card which says your a personal trainer, insinuating she's fat? lol lol

Can neither confirm or deny that I'm afraid, memory loss :-/

Cheers guys, gonna try the whole listen and "thrash" it out approach again. So frustrating, life would be easier for both parties if she weren't to act in that way. If I acted in that way she'd have left years ago. I just don't get why she makes things so difficult.

It must be incredibly tough to go through and it is generally difficult to find a decent woman, especially who you naturally get along with and will be happy with and if you have that and you genuinely believe that there is a chance that it can work, then it'll be worth fighting for, but then it's not like you haven't given this a real chance.

Like what I've seen other people say on here, think about what you want and be selfish. If you are not happy then it may be time to end it. It's a big shame, especially considering that you have a house together, but at least you're not married. Having read through this thread, I have to say that there seem to be far more negatives than positives and it's shown little sign of getting any better. You would hope that whatever happened, you wouldn't end up in the same situation again after just a few months and it has. When you say it got better, was it genuinely good and were you happy? Did you guys talk to eachother about how you were feeling when it was like this before?

It may be worth having a break. From what I've seen, it often leads to couples splitting up although I had something similar myself with my partner fairly recently. We mutually agreed that we would split up although we were still on speaking terms. It turned out that speaking to her without thinking about the pressures of work or any other crap, we got along really well again and about a week or two later we were back together. If you do end up splitting up, then perhaps it's just not meant to be.

All birds turn psycho eventually. Enjoy it while you can then get out before she goes fully nuts and end up like Kirsty on Corrie.

I think this is a job for Wymeswold Fox, out of our league.

How you haven't just ditched her and moved on to a girl who might actually love and respect you, or taken some time out to be single, is beyond me.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking anybody is better than nobody, you'll make yourself much more unhappy in the long run.

Mate you sound as pathetic as she is.

Move on.

It is easy for us, with no emotional attachment or knowledge of the woman involved, to say ditch her but it'll take cajones for the OP to end it. Being dismissive and calling him pathetic for not having done so shows something of a lack of empathy.

The crux of these comments is however the way to go based on what's been posted, as much for the bloke's self-esteem as anything.

My advice is this, next time she tells you to stop slurping or whatever put down your food / plate, grab her by the chinny chin skin (the skin underneath the chin that you can grasp) and then as hard as you can slap her round the face. As your sleazy palm makes contact with the face shout "THAT'S A SPICY MEAT-A-BALL". She won't hurt or pick on you anymore. I promise.
