Eh..?

Your manager was busting a gut to spunk £1.5m all over Cameron Stewart.. The lad is worth a fraction of that amount

BTW.. He's gone to Burnley on loan until January, Pearson tried again before deadline day but drew another blank

If he isn't worth a fraction of that amount then why didn't your board snap his hand off for it when it was offered? Great business sense by your owners of there, like someone said earlier - petty spite getting in the way of making a massive profit. Good owners!

If you've got something that's worth £1 and someone you don't like offers you £50 for it, would you not sell it to them and chuckle, counting your profit? It would seem Hull City's strategy would be turn it down instead and give it to someone else for free... everyone involved in the running of your club seems to be thick as pigshit, from manager to board.

The only other explanation is that your board thinks he's worth more than £1.5 million, but has decided to let him go out on loan for nothing.

Either way, **** me - I'm glad they're not running my football club.

Are you happy that your club was willing to shell out £££ on a player that's one trick pony and a bit shit..?

Really? You lot were all over us on here telling us how Stewart would never come here and that he'd only leave to a premier league club. Make your minds up.

Congrats on throwing away £1.5m easy money for such a shit player, you must be chuffed. Thank your board for us that they rejected our money for a rubbish player... that really showed us. lol

So you've turned down good money that no other club would pay, for a player you don't rate, and you seem pleased by that?

Small time club.

I still think he'd benefit our squad but we aren't in desperate need of wingers anymore. If NP thinks he's worth £1.5m then I'm happy with that. You won't see him coming back with £2m or £3m for him though like Sven may have.

Surprised that, if he isn't wanted at Hull, that they refuse to sell him because it's Leicester who is making the bid. Comes across as a bit petty and childish. If that's what they want though then fair enough.

Hull is full of shit and their football club is shit. I especially like the way this fan is making out they've done well refusing £1,500,000 for "a player worth fractions of that". Can you come back and justify it one more time, please?

Yeah, who needs money when you can give away your assets for free instead? Jesus wept, I think your owners need to do a business studies GCSE or something, just to give them the broad strokes.

Oh dear..

We haven't given him away for free.. the lads gone out on loan

Since you mention business & finance, how's your balance sheet..

Solvent or not..?

Stop deflecting the question - we all know our finances are ****ed up - I repeat:

Do you think it's good business for your club to turn down a bid of £1.5 million for a player who - in your words - is worth a fraction of that amount and then send him out on loan to one of your rivals for promotion from this league for nothing?

Here's a hint - the answer is 'no, it's not good business'. If you think anything else, you're a ****ing moron. If he's not worth anything near that, why haven't you snapped our hands off? If he's worth more than that, why have you sent him out on loan to a rival for nothing? Whatever way you look at it, it's ****ing stupid.

Oh dear indeed.

Thing is.. Cameron Stewart is still young & inconsistent, not easy to pin a valuation on his head.. As a guide, we paid Man Utd £300k.

The lad got bags of energy & potential, but isn't yet consistent enough to be considered a first team regular.. Sounds like Burnley will give him more minutes than we can, hopefully he will progress & maybe sting one or two of our promotion rivals while he is there, & come back in January a better player..

We don't wanna sell, what's stupid..?

So now you're saying he's worth more than £1.5m? Why can't you make your mind up?

Well why say he's only worth a fraction of the £1.5 million we offered? Earlier on you were saying:

"Are you happy that your club was willing to shell out £££ on a player that's one trick pony and a bit shit..?"

"Your manager was busting a gut to spunk £1.5m all over Cameron Stewart.. The lad is worth a fraction of that amount"

Sounds like you can't make your mind up either way.

So there are three scenarios:

1. You think he's worth a fraction of the £1.5 million we offered but rather than sell him to us, you loan him out to Burnley, losing a profit of about £1.2 million on what you paid for him. Bizarre.

2. You think he's worth more than the £1.5 million we offered, but instead of trying to milk more money out of a club who have paid over the odds for players before, you decide to loan him out to Burnley for nothing. Bizarre.

3. You think he's worth somewhere in that ballpark and you think he's a decent player and you'd like to keep him. So you loan him out to a team of similar stature who will be competing directly with you for promotion. Bizarre.

We don't care if your tiny little tinpot club doesn't want to sell players to us, we've had no problems getting quality players from anywhere else and your fans' pathetic obsession with us is getting a little sad to be honest - I don't think we could literally care any less about Hull City on here. Were we all over your message boards when Pearson joined you, banging on about how we'd never sell any City players to you? Did we care when you picked up Hobbs, Fryatt, Solano and Waghorn? Managers will always go back to their old clubs to get players they're familiar with, it's the natural thing to do. Why are you lot getting so worked up about it?

Piss off back to your own message board.
