chili_con_carne Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 But is anyone else getting bored of Pearson saying he will 'get it right' after a defeat. I think this may have something to do with never being able to put a run together. we seem to win after a defeat an awful lot, but when we win, we don't win again. Is this down to Pearson not motivating the players enough after we win? Or maybe our players just react to his hairdryer treatment after a defeat. It's been going on ages, wonder what you put it down too?
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I'm getting bored of dominating games & not being able to take our chances.
davieG Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 What else can he say after a defeat there's not exactly a great many ways to answer the same question just to keep the media supplied with editorial space especially straight after the game when he hasn't had a great deal of time to think over and talk to his team about what went right or wrong. We haven't a clue what goes on in the dressing room before during or after a game so there's no point speculation on what he should/shouldn't/does/doesn't do in there..
accessory Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I'm getting bored of shit threads Not as bored as some of us are with crap away results
Steve Agnew Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 "Didn't work hard enough" - same old excuse. There is a point where hard work stops working and quality is required. How sustainable is hard work ever going to be? We need to play the possession game and make the opposing team run around like monkeys.
red5 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 Remember last season him saying "we're only 4 points of 4th place" he should have gone in the summer I blame Sven
chili_con_carne Posted 16 September 2012 Author Posted 16 September 2012 So what are your opinions of why we don't seem To win 2 games in a row a lot? seems no one else has a clue

It's been going on ages, wonder what you put it down too? You want him to say, "I can't cope, sack me now!"? I'm gettiung tired about people bleating on about this - what else is there to be said? At least he has the guts, unlike some managers, to admit that things need to change.

That's the point though, it never does change.

chili_con_carne Posted 16 September 2012 Author Posted 16 September 2012 What would you like him to say then? i don't know! I'm just trying to explain that when he says we will get it right, we win the next game. Im all for that. The point I'm making is that we then don't win again after that

Daggers Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 At least he has the guts, unlike some managers, to admit that things need to change. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
FoxesFan100 Posted 16 September 2012 Posted 16 September 2012 I thought you were going to apologise for pointless threads. Title is seriously mis-leading.
