Just shows what you can do if you stick together, the club have tried to get rid of GB for years, now they're giving them a larger safe standing section. :D

Imagine that for the Kop...

The atmosphere would be even better than it is now. UFS & the Kop, stood as one

Oh yes, very good. Try and dismiss someone's point of view by accusations of ignorance if they disagree with you. I have looked into this and it still has little to commend it.

What does anyone think will be gained by returning to standing? We won't get better atmosphere than we have now and it won't be automatically much cheaper.

Some people might actually want to stand without someone like you telling them to sit down.

I reckon 99% of people moaning about safe standing have never even seen a picture of rail seating let alone been anywhere near them

If the club were ever to move for safe standing, they'd probably first analyse if it would be worth it, as in a worthwhile investment for the club. What I mean by that is, for instance, L1 is all standing, so the safe standing would get very good use. Whereas, it's unknown how the Kop would react to safe standing. In the Kop, towards the back as we know, fans stand, whereas lower areas are seated. If it was installed, from a club's point of view, would it be a cost effective installation. However, as the images show, seating is still possible, and I read somewhere your view isn't blocked even if someone is standing in front of you? (I could be wrong with that)

I reckon a majority would stand in the Kop, given the chance like myself. L1 is standing so it'd be worth doing in that block.

L1 and K1 both stand.

True. There's potential in this, with the amount of standing areas there are in our ground. Last season I looked on the Bournemouth fans forum, and they said they were intrigued by the amount of standing areas there were. Our stadium is unique in that way. In all but one stand, there are standing blocks.

When my underpants dry out, they'll come apart like a poppadom.

So where in the ground will this be in relation to us in two weeks so I can study it up close?

Say their away end is the same position as ours, this is the North West corner.

That's the future chaps, it's not a question of if it will have in England, it's a question of when.

It seems to me Sol, once one English club starts the implementation of Safe Standing, others will start to follow. Not sure who that club might be, but I can see it happening fairly soon in English football.

Is this the Green Brigade section?

Yeah it is. Think the GB will be in the front half of it.

Same goal end then but opposite side of the goal?

If so very close by.

Bingo
