LordFox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Well I think poor old Peltier is up for a rough time next week. Lloyd seems to have hit a bit of form and I just don't think Peltier will be able to handle his pace, and I have a feeling that he may resort to some rash tackling - and open up the chance of a goal from a dead ball situation, at least I hope that's how Tuesday's match pans out.
StanSP Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I doubt it. Peltier hasn't even played at RB recently.
jmono84 Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Think peltier plays CB for Warnocks Leeds mate... I think it's Tom Lees that will be having his pants pulled up, down, left and right by Dyer!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I doubt it. Peltier hasn't even played at RB recently. Looks like he may have done yesterday now they have Tate on loan. Maybe not though if Lees has been playing full-back. If Warnock has any sense he'll swap them over to play us. Peltier has the pace to deal with Dyer better than most full-backs.
LordFox Posted 25 November 2012 Author Posted 25 November 2012 Hasn't he, we're did he play yesterday? I saw him on the team list and assumed it was in at RB
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 He's been playing centre back I believe

Yes he has pace but he has shown in the past against quicker wingers he can be a little but .. How do I say this as I like the guy..sloppy and untidy
LordFox Posted 25 November 2012 Author Posted 25 November 2012 He's been playing centre back I believe Cheers for the update
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Cheers for the update No probs mate. If he was RB against Lloyd Dyer, I'd fancy Lloyd to tear him a new one.
Harry - LCFC Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 He took a throw-in on the left wing on the FLS yesterday. It looks like it was Paul Green at RB for Leeds, I remember Dyer sprinting past him with ease against Derby. Crossed the ball for Danns to volley home.
Lambert09 Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I look at this a different way, Pelts knows as well as all of us Dyer only has a left foot, when defenders suss that out it makes it very hard for Lloyd as it makes his movements a bit more predictable, seeing as Pelts is no slug I have a feeling he could win this battle. However, Pelts would not stand a hope in hell of dealing with Knockaert

However, Pelts would not stand a hope in hell of dealing with Knockaert I'm not so sure, I agree Peltier isn't slow but he's not a quick as Lloyd, and if Lloyd starts to cut in more this match it will make more room, however this could all be for nothing if he starts at CB

I thought there was a further shake up because of Pearce's dismissal from Watford.
Harry - LCFC Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Pearce might come back into this if his suspension is completed. I'm pretty sure this was the Leeds back four yesterday: Peltier - - Tate - - Lees - - Green Kenny
Bugg Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I'm sure it's Sam Byram who plays at right back for Leeds, by all accounts he is a very promising player and also isn't short of pace himself.
Ashley Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Peltier has played left back for Leeds all season, well more or less.
Charl91 Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I wouldn't under-estimate peltier to be honest. Might not be the best, but he certainly isn't poor.
LCFC FOX Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I don't care about Peltier anymore. Hes moved on and De Laet is a much better player. Faster, more skillfull and can bomb up that wing all game. Plus hes younger.
kingfox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Who cares where he plays, as long as he get's torn apart that's all that matters.
Babylon Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Arrrrrgh Peltier... another one of those "great" players we'd regret selling.
ousefox Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 As someone has already mentioned, it's been Sam Byram who has been playing there the majority of this season. Played with him for a couple of years before he joined Leeds. Actually kept him out of the right back spot.......he was a winger then. Good player with a lot of potential but I think Dyer will be a bit too much for him with his little experience, but he had Matt Jarvis in his pocket when Wolves played them first game of the season. Lloyd is a bit of a different player to Jarvis mind!
Kitchandro Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 I hope Pearson's research is better than ours, are we sure he's even playing in the back four? Everytime I've seen him this season he's definitely been at centre back, but that's only been the tv games so obviously he's rotated a bit. He's definitely a weakness at full back, his positional sense is appalling whoever is up against him should be aware of that whenever they get the ball.

Danno Posted 25 November 2012 Posted 25 November 2012 Arrrrrgh Peltier... another one of those "great" players we'd regret selling. And Sol Bamba! Our defence is appalling, Sol Bamba easily good enough for Man U!
