Parafox Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 When on earth are Coventry going to go bust? C'mon, if it was LCFC in the same boat (and we were pretty close) you wouldn't want other fans wishing for our demise. Not good for footbal or the supporters.
ozleicester Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Got a mate whos been a CCFC fan for 40+ years, love the "banter" with him, but can see the sadness and hurt..and remember the feeling that watching your club crumble brings. Hope they survive, All those people who talk about how football was better "back then" need to realise CCFC, like us or any football club, isnt about the owners, grounds and debts, its about fans, people like us who are being forced to watch what they love be completely fvcked over.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 You know this thread is now bollocks when you see 5th December and, '21 days'
Jace Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Our owners should sell up and buy Coventry and their stadium at least maybe more of their supporters would be thankful
Super_horns Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 They've been a mess since moving to that stadium it seems. I hope they don't go bust...one of the easiest trips for Watford fans if we play them.
Matt Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Our owners should sell up and buy Coventry and their stadium at least maybe more of their supporters would be thankful More and Supporters don't even register when talking about CCFC. What supporters exactly? Perhaps if they had better support they wouldn't quite be in this mess. (They'd still be in a mess without doubt but all the old supporters who turned their back have their part to blame, they did once upon a time have good support, it's more than halfed though) Having said that if things don't go right at Leicester I could see many of our fans turning there backs, including me to an extent, I'd never fully turn me back, i'll always go but perhaps not as much as I do now, i'm getting fed up and I know i'm not the only one, regardless, I can almost guarentee our support will never demise like CCFC's has.
demon_dog Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Don't want to see any club go under. However it makes you think, is the lack of support down to the fact that the stadium is so far out of the city? Would LCFC get as many fans if the stadium was located say at Glenfield? Glad we stayed pretty close to Filbert St.
AyewJoking Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 What happened to their old place, was it demolished?
steveherbe Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 What happened to their old place, was it demolished? Didnt NASA buy it to train astronauts in a 'no atmosphere' environment? (Sorry, waiting for wife to cook tea!!)
Fox92 Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 What happened to their old place, was it demolished? Yeah. There are houses there now.
rico Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Yeah. There are houses there now. think you meant to put slums

You're getting fed up? With being 5th place or above for nearly all of the season?
