BarnsleyFan Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 just thought i'd say i came down against this season. Couldn't believe we didn't win and felt very low going out of the ground but any away points a good away point. From our point of view the goals were very poor. We gave you the first one and that one at the end wasn't much better to be honest. Not sure how one of your players got away with raising his hand to Wiseman in second half. Thought Lloyd Dyer was less affective but that's thanks to Jim O'Biren and especially young John Stones. Also not to sound like this is a slam LCFC thread but i thought with the money you've spent you would play a more entertaining style of football. Daniel Drinkwater wasn't the player we had at the King Power last year either.

Daniel Drinkwater wasn't the player we had at the King Power last year either. It was a strange game. On the basis of the first 15 mins and last 5 mins, we deserved to win the game. Obviously that means you were the better side for the bigger portion. We sat back far too much, and too many players had a lacklustre day. You can't afford to do that in this league, and hopefully it'll come as a massive wake up call to our players, whilst stil luckily ganing a point
KingPowerLCFC1884 Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 ok, thanks for that... cause no one on here realized that. well done sir.
Brainy Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 Why would you need to play entertaining football if you spend lots of money?
Babylon Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 This was one game, an off day. To talk about entertainment when you were a team of spoilers and we've smashed 12 goals in the last three home games is a bit rich.
Dan Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 We dominated the game yet still played shit, that says it all. Wiseman deserved a twatting. All this crap about "raised his arms" makes me cringe, "ooooh but you can't raise your arms to an opponent", embarrassing, so he's allowed to nick the ball off us and not give it back when it's our set piece?
stevelcfc Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 Barnsley were incredible, better that Barca could ever wish to be, as for you sir, you seem the most intelligent, articulate and insightful fan any team could wish for. Does that help your ego at all?

They were as gubbins as us and created two chances! At least we created plenty of chances the few minutes we got it together.
theessexfox Posted 10 December 2012 Posted 10 December 2012 Our squad isn't that expensive, most of the big buys are gone, our team isn't too overpriced.

Don't be ridiculous, we're obviously the biggest spenders in England because the paper reported it at the start of last season, we're the only club in the world who's spent money as a result, we should follow clubs like Blackburn who make bargain buys like Jordan Rhodes for £8mil.

And Drinkwater ran the show down the KP last season so I take it you couldn't of been there?

At least we created plenty of chances the few minutes we got it together. My point was that after the 2-2 equaliser we really turned up the heat and caused immense pressure. We deserved to lose because we were unable or couldn't be bothered to have that tempo for the full 90 mins
BarnsleyFan Posted 10 December 2012 Author Posted 10 December 2012 Knockaert Maybe i'm wrong but didn't he cost 2 million? Nugent Waghorn Vardy non league player that you bought for 1 million. I could go on and on. Ii bet your wage budgets almost three times Barnsley's.
