Walshy5 Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 If he signs for forest he cant see the wood for the trees. I think he could the missing piece of the jigsaw
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 He played alright today, good build up play, poor finishing... a lot like we have already? I'd much prefer their left-back. :xmasblink: The one who kept shanking everything into row z?! With regard to Wood I thought he looked good, absolutely bullied Morgan and Whitbread at times. Pearson looked like he was trying to catch his eye when he was subbed as well!
Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Chris Wood's family live in Catford, Southeast London, bank smack in the middle of Millwall's manor. There's a few who'll be willing to pay for a decent young striker but cant see him leaving Millwall unless WBA recall him. He's settled, coming along nicely and is another Antipodean success in a long line of players (Muscat, Cahill, Lucas Neil, Lowery) that thrive on being part of the setup down at the Den. Don't blame you for trying but don't hold your breath. At the end of the day he wont make or break either of us.
Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 But a 21 year old Keith Weller would be an entirely different kettle of fish!
Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Because Berylson doesn't waste money doesn't mean he doesn't have any. Look him up and you'll see exactly what he's worth.
Lamby Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Because Berylson doesn't waste money doesn't mean he doesn't have any. Look him up and you'll see exactly what he's worth. We're worth far more than you
Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Who to? Hornby Triang? Network Southeast?
Lamby Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Who to? Hornby Triang? Network Southeast? You're not funny, don't give up the day job, thats if you have one unlike most of the knobs at the Spanners. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Cash_%28businessman%29 We're owned by him..more takeover rumours going around too, one is of the richest family in Turkey is about to buy us.

Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 That's so impressive. One shot in 90 minutes is all you lot managed at the Den. Riveting stuff.
Lamby Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 That's so impressive. One shot in 90 minutes is all you lot managed at the Den. Riveting stuff. It was called having a game plan and settling for a point.
Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Excellent philosophy. Probably explains the difference in our relative league positions. Have you missed the last train home or are you waiting around to note the number of the milk train?

Lengloversoldsock Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Good old Chorlton, always guaranteed a chuckle and a choo choo. See you in April.
Lamby Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Good old Chorlton, always guaranteed a chuckle and a choo choo. See you in April. He's coming for you He's coming for youuuuuuu Jeremy Kyle He's coming for youuuuuu
Father Ted Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 He's coming for you He's coming for youuuuuuu Jeremy Kyle He's coming for youuuuuu That is brilliant!
The People's Hero Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Charlton and Millwall. What a couple of dull Championship clubs. I like what Kenny Jackett has done at Millwall, quietly effective. Every Millwall fan seems to be either a thug or a window-licker though.
Deucalion Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Spoke to Ms X about Chris Wood today. She says she did receive the text in time to tell me on Friday but didn't have a chance. Anyway, she says Chris Wood has denied there is anything other than paper talk in his moving to Leicester in January. In fact, the impression I got was that he might not move at all in January. Apparently there has been no contact between any club and WBA about a move. She also reckons he lives near his family in Kingswinford, not SE London.
foxesfan1989 Posted 18 December 2012 Posted 18 December 2012 Pearson...sign him up! Pearson Pearson sign him up!

Thanks for that; not worth waiting for though - disappointing.
Deucalion Posted 18 December 2012 Posted 18 December 2012 At last!! Thanks for that; not worth waiting for though - disappointing. Sorry. Not what I was expecting either. I suppose the clubs could make contact at a later date or Chris Wood isn't telling but I doubt this. He knows Ms X quite well and would tell her the truth without suspecting she is telling me and I'm plastering it all over Foxestalk!
Happy Fox Posted 18 December 2012 Posted 18 December 2012 Alex Aldridge â€@accordingtoaldo Jackett said post-match that he believes Chris Wood wants to stay at#Millwall. Money talks though
Mack Posted 19 December 2012 Posted 19 December 2012 He'll go wherever the money is. Lets face it, playing for Millwall isn't exactly big time is it? 10000 crowds and a load of knuckle draggers for a fan base. If someone comes in with a decent offer the lad will be out the door and on his toes before Jacket gets the chance to call him a two faced sheep shagging all blacks lover.
