Larry_LCFC Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I wonder if we can get Heskey in on a last minute emergency loan
darko2k7 Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Thigh strain Confirmed more to the point, does anyone know how long hes out for? Ive read a few times now it could be 6 weeks but im hoping that is bollox! http://www.physioroo..._strain_sum.php As a general rule grade one Thigh strains should be rested from sporting activity for about 3 weeks, and grade two Thigh strains for about 4 to 6 weeks. In the case of a complete rupture the Thigh muscle will have to be repaired surgically and the rehabilitation afterwards will take about 3 months. Hope it's grade one then
goose2010 Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Would play nugent with dyer Marshall and knockers just behind if I was nige
Leicesterpool Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Would play nugent with dyer Marshall and knockers just behind if I was nige That sounds good to me, but another idea would be play Knocky and Dyer on the wings and maybe either Marshall or Gally behind Nugent.
Kitchandro Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 http://www.physioroo..._strain_sum.php Hope it's grade one then So he's probably out for tomorrow, Charlton, Blackpool, Blackburn and maybe Ipswich as well as the cup games.

Grewks Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Said we needed to strengthen, and did we? No. Only ourselves to blame, either waggy, vardy, futacs, king or dyer in our starting 11 tomorrow then, hardly promotion capable are they?
acooling08 Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Well if he is out for that long it could well derail our automatic promotion push. Nugent is scoring well but if he hits a dry spell where will the goals come from?? Knockaert may chip in with a few but apart from that we're in trouble.

If he is out for 5 league games we will use the loan market. Harry Kane.
Happy Fox Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Wood is out noooooooo personally I would play one up front in this case, as neither Waghorn nor Vardy are good enough in a 4-4-2.
Harry - LCFC Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Real question is how has wood managed to get injured in 8 days of training.Should not be occuring surely I know some managers do this but Pearson doesn't really strike me as the type who would, I'd say we can be fairly sure Wood won't feature tomorrow.
Happy Fox Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 NP must bring in a striker on loan it is imperative no way can we rely on the likes of Waghorn and Vardy during this run in, hopefully he will make calls to WBA and get Odimwingie on loan if that is feasible.

Calm down mate, no one expected him to get injured and like others have said the loan window is open so if np thinks he needs to dabble then he will least give him a chance only confirmed he was injured today!
Guest kristianity77 Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 More to the point, why wasn't the first place we found out about Wood's injury through our most reliable source.....Knockys twitter!

Don't even know how long he's out for yet!
StanSP Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I pray for Grewks' sake that that was a drunken post. What gibberish!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 So the Merc says we have a fully fit squad, then Wood is out injured. What had he done, injured himself on the bus??

BoneDog Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Crap news. Hope he's not out for very long. Would be happy to see Futacs given a start. Still quite confident we'll carry on as we were.
