more to the point, does anyone know how long hes out for? Ive read a few times now it could be 6 weeks but im hoping that is bollox!

Pearson has not shown much faith in Futacs so far this season, so i would surprised if he starts tomorrow.

The chances are he will start with Vardy, who he has shown a great deal of faith in this season!

It's a blow Wood is out as you want your best players playing. But our team has been better than them this season before he even arrived, we should still have enough in us to win.

Real question is how has wood managed to get injured in 8 days of training.Should not be occuring surely

Yeah on reflection, they travelled today at 3, unless he's fallen off the coach or something?

However careful the management are you cannot legislate for injury a funny twist, studs caught in ground, muscle pull it's endless! They cannot be wrapped in cotton wool. The point now is dealing with the loss finding the right replacement and showing our credentials as promotion candidates.Think it's between Waggy and Vardy and wouldn't surprise me if it's Vardy. Second hand from Stringer:

@StringerSport: Chris Wood will not play for #lcfc tomorrow through injury. 104.9fm from 2pm for full commentary #pufc vs #lcfc

Oh well, Watford and palace are drawing

fair point - but hard to understand nevertheless especially if it turned out to be serious.Valuable players on serious corn.If its between waggy and vardy id prefer king and those two warming the bench

The majority of injuries happen in training. They spend 90%+ of their time working for the club at the training ground after all so these things cant be avoided.

I cant see it being a case of Pearson playing mind games about Wood being injured. Why would he need to against Peterborough?

As I write Watford just drew 2-2 with Palace. Splendid :)
