darko2k7 Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Should still be easily strong enough to beat these . I'm saying 2-1 city - Nugent, Knocky

Guest kristianity77 Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 This is Vardys time! I feel its now or never for him.
kingfox Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 This has the most comments, so I'm going to grace this match thread. So...does this seem Vardy is ahead of Waghorn now? If so then I'm worried, would of liked to see James start but I guess it's understandable that he is on the bench. Time to step up Vardy, another poor performance from him, then I will be livid.

ealingfox Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Vardy needs to at least get back to his early season form, working hard with a bit more confidence, and scoring a few goals too.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Have to say I prefer Waghorn to Vardy, much better at holding up the ball and more of a general threat. Guess we'll see what happens. We should be capable of coping with this injury to negotiate this fixture IMO.

Yes me to but I think to drop King would send the wrong message to the fringe players.
Raw Dykes Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 I think it's weird that Vardy gets picked ahead of Waghorn. Maybe he's impressed more in training. Surprised James doesn't start. I'm guessing he's not quite fully fit. No defenders on the bench. I thought Moore had recovered.
lcfcsnow Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Pearson won't admit defeat will he, look at the Huddersfield cup game we barely mustered a shot all game with Vardy miscontrolling for an hour. We'd be better off with another man in midfield, especially with King starting he always concerns me in away games.
dynamark Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Hope for the best-but that is strange to me if James is fit he should be in surely.vardy must be showing something in training.Knocky needs to be coming in of the right and Marshall off the left and letting the fullbacks go outside not the other way. ill guarantee we see dyer and james by the end.everything crossed
Jordan Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 4-4-2 hasn't been the most successful formation for City away, but I hope King can pick up his play a bit in a game City should still win.
The Blur Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Got a feeling it is going to be a 2-0 win. I reckon Vardy can nick a goal as well-he won't get better opportunities for rest of the season than against Peterborough's leaky defence.

Maybe that's why he's picked Vardy - we can adapt a 4-2-3-1 with Vardy on the left, Knocky in the middle and Marshall on the right behind Nuge. I'm glad he's played 2 strikers though, 1 striker against bottom of the league would be negative to say the least.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 FFS obviously no Wood , but Kingy instead of James :-(

Area88 Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Happiest day ever if we win today. I think this is the make or break fixture. If we win today, without Wood, we will keep winning imo. FFS obviously no Wood , but Kingy instead of James :-( Is Wood really out for 6 weeks? Whats the update on him? Kind of strange there has been no press or coverage on this.
whoareyaaa Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 Time for Vardy to step up, would of liked to have seen the 5 in midfield with Nuge on his own up top. Still think we should win this comfortably though 0-3
