LCFC FOX Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Anyone any idea where any of these are now? Apart from Logan obviously
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Stephen Dawson does very well at Barnsley, doesn't he?
teblin Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Chris o'grady scored against this season. McKay scored a lot of goals for caley thistle. I'm guessing you stearman did ok for himself?
Narborough_fox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Anyone any idea where any of these are now? Apart from Logan obviously Sheehan is at Notts County after spells with Leeds and Swindon. Stearman is still with Wolves, went on loan to Ipswich this season though. Wesolowski is at Oldham after being with Peterborough. Dawson is at Barnsley after moving from Leyton Orient. Was at Mansfield and Bury as well. McKay is at Inverness after joining them from Northampton (Where my friend says he was very good). Chambers is at York City. Dodds is at Port Vale. Chris O'Grady is on loan at Barnsley from Wednesday. Was at Rotherham, Oldham and Rochdale.
MooseBreath Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Mark still owns the site. DavieG is a mod I believe and still posts regularly. Not sure about Cobbo.
General Smuts Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Half of these have yet to escape Thracians dungeon.

Wymsey Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 * Delete my post here mods please* - was going to ask about the last whereabouts of Levi Porter, but only just seen him name on here. Thanks.
HitchinFox Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Tomi Petrescu plays in Finland and moved from Honka to Haka earlier this year. Always showed promise and after leaving us in 2003 he eventually became a leading player in the Finnish "Veikkausliiga" (by around 2007). Sad for the lad that a knee injury then foiled his planned move to Ajax in 2007-08. Since then he has failed to set the stage alight. He's never got a full cap for Finland and is unlikely to do so.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Ricky Muggleton was with Nuneaton boro for about three seasons after he was released by hinckley, i believe he left boro in October 2008 to join Solihull Moors after that I don't what happened to him.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Apart from Stearman and maybe Wesolowski and O'Grady we didn't have too good of a academy then Hopefully in 5/6 years time when I ask about the lads who won the tournament in HongKong they are all at least championship maybe premiership players
Fox in the North Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 I know he's not on the list but billy kee is playing well for burton.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 did that sesay kid play in hong kong? if not, i could see him being involved with the 1st team this year
Narborough_fox Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 did that sesay kid play in hong kong? if not, i could see him being involved with the 1st team this year Yeah, he did, was captain of the team and think he's captain of the development squad at the minute.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Yeah, he did, was captain of the team and think he's captain of the development squad at the minute. saw him against cardiff and he was head and shoulders above the rest - bar taft who i think is ready to replace konckesky

Narborough_fox Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 That is really depressing reading, how can a City the size of ours only really produce Lineker and Heskey as genuine top level players in all these years? Shilton?
Guest MattP Posted 28 May 2013 Posted 28 May 2013 Shilton? Actually Shilton and Lineker isn't bad, both World Class. What's actually more depressing is not a single Premier League player at this stage has came through our youth system, doesn't inspire much hope that many more are coming along.

Stearman, Mattock, Grady, Gradel, Oakes, Sheehan, Petrescu, Heskey, Weslowski(sp?) , Dawson, Gradel, Logan, King, Sheehan .... they've all come through the Youth Squad and played at Championship level and above. Alright the standard has improved and a lot wouldn't orvaren't playing now but I don't think we have the worlds worst academy setup.
