flowwolf Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Random choice, mainly because of his name : Diddn't he pass away in Liverpool ?
pSinatra Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Diddn't he pass away in Liverpool ? After retiring from football, Arphexad went back to the island of Guadeloupe to pursue a career in acting. He signed a 3-picture deal to play folk hero Inspektor Gummy on Canal 10 Guadeloupe télévision. Arhpexad is considered one of the finest actors of Guadeloupe descent. I never knew he played as few games as he did & I never knew he became an actor? Slightly too young to remember Worthington, Glover, Weller. When I was a nipper it was between Young, Lynex & Wallington. There's been a few good'uns over the years, but it has got to be Walsh for me.........the number of games, the goals, the passion, the loyalty & commitment to the club.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Robbie Savage is probably my all time favourite in terms of during their time at the club(he made it very hard to like him post-Leicester City!) Muzzy is probably the best that I've seen at Leicester and the one whom I have greatest admiration for.
RonnieTodger Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Steve Guppy closely followed by Tim Flowers. They were my idols at the time
dynamark Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 All era related but Kieth Weller could do things with a football i have not seen from anyone else.eg. volley direct from a corner edge of the box into the top corner, beat six men twice (exagerrating)and Franky of course .We had 4 players in an england team one night for goodness sake.
kingfox Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 All time my era, then it will have to be Muzzy Izzet. But recently it will have to be Bruno Berner, always reliable and probably one of the best left-backs we have had at this club in a while.
Lakes fox Posted 26 February 2013 Author Posted 26 February 2013 Thanks for the quotes, seems a lot of LCFC fans are from our class team of the 90's to early 00's era. Interested to see guppy as I idolised him to with his superb whipped in crosses. Could do with him as our crossing lacks his pin point accuracy. Hope you liked my first attempt at a tread brings back some great memories
Kilworthfox Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 If your around my age (43) surely it can only be Steve Walsh. I'm 29 & It's Steve Walsh
stockyfox Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Lovely post You must remember my great uncle Derek Hines? bit of a clogger by all accounts Yes of course I remember Derek Hines, He led the attack and although not a prolific scorer, he always had a respectable tally usually in the teens, by the end of the season. Derek was not spectacular but was totally reliable. To some extent, his possible legendary status was overshadowed by having Arthur Rowley at Inside Left and Johnny Morris at Inside Right. Add to that, the superb skills of Derek Hogg on the Left Wing and Mal Griffiths on the Right and Derek Hines didnt get his deserved amount of praise, but he was unselfish and laid on the critical passes for the others to score.
Guest bss9401 Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 I was lucky enough to see Weller and Wortho play live but my all time hero is Gary Lineker. When I was younger it was Tommy Williams.
premierleaguerocks Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 my favourite Leicester city player is Kasper Schmeichel
joeasis Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 As a 20 year old, growing up through the o'niel years Muzzy gets my vote. He was incredible, some of his goals will never be forgotten
