Guest Bilo Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 No need to be rude I thought it was reasonable idea. I think you know what I was referring to Davie! Bloody Sky. I doubt even Manchester United get televised to the extent they only have 3pm Saturday kick off in the second half of the season, it's become a novelty now.
ousefox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Feel bad for any of you season ticket holders who live anywhere near as far away as I do must of been a complete waste of money this season trying to get to all these weekday matches. Shame they don't give more notice too when they do this by this time anyone staying overnight at hotels etc have probably already made arrangements Yep, it's terrible. If i want to go to a tuesday night it wipes me out for the whole week and other evening games do the same. Complete waste of money. Will have been to 9 Sunderland home games this season as we rarely clash with fixtures. Only managed 7 home games i think, and they have all took a lot more effort than i thought they would when i got the ticket at the start of the season.
Ric Flair Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 To be fair our record at home on sky this season is superb, i'm more than happy if we win.
Walshy5 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 It really is a ****ing joke. Its even starting to make me a little paronoid now that sky know its pissing us off so badly that they're doing it on purpose! De-values season tickets aswell. Also IF we do make the playoffs i think ST holders should get the home game free after all this. Wont happen though.

ScouseFox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 What's even the point in me having a season ticket? I can't make night games because there's no way of getting back after and I doubt I could get there anyway. Not usually one to get angry at this but it's just stupid now. Not renewing next year. Fúck this.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 The players pull their fingers out of their tiny little stink holes when they're on sky. Then you can all go to fan club after the match with all the other cvnts
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 The most important factor with this decision is....What about the Birch run??
wattolcfc Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 It really is a ****ing joke. acooling08 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Who cares really At least we still have a football club. Night games create more of an atmosphere for us anyway so I'm not bothered. Plus we get money for being on SKY when we are in financial trouble. Don't mind Friday night games, but the atmosphere on a weekday night is always really really shit.
Fox4ever76 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 instead of ranting about it why dont all of u that aren't happy do something about it like get together & boycott these games...
acooling08 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 instead of ranting about it why dont all of u that aren't happy do something about it like get together & boycott these games... If you can't get to the game, what makes you think people can get somewhere else do 'boycott' it?
davieG Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 instead of ranting about it why dont all of u that aren't happy do something about it like get together & boycott these games... I suspect the ones that don't like it enough to do that don't need to boycott it because they can't get to them anyway that's why they'e ranting about it and that's why the attendances for these games drop.
Kitchandro Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 If the club are to be believed they don't have any control over which games are televised so boycotting wouldn't really do much good. Sky don't give a toss how many fans or how much money we bring in.
fox ache Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Just as we expected then so gladi will be on a night shift straight after the game. Yet another game i cannot attend due to shift work ............ LCFC couldnt give a shit about the real fan, had a season ticket for years, always expected a few game changes but, since december, its been a joke. Icing on the cake for me, they can shove season ticket up their arse !!!!! THANKS LEICESTER CITY
Guest Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 If I was a ST Holder I would boycott this game, and have some form of protest outside the club before hand. The ST Holders are already boycotting the game because NP hasn't been sacked. Keep up to date man.
Karljohn Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Wonder if this will remain a platinum fixture? It really is laughable, final home game on a Friday night.
Bausor Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Omg this takes the piss Who needs a season ticket when I could just watch on sky wankers
Cruss5 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I have family who have planned to come over from the Isle of Wight for the Saturday. Means they will have to change the ferry times and re-book hotels etc whilst taking time off of work. Its a complete shambles. They only booked it last week. If they had known they wouldn't of spent all the money they have spent to come over.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Probably cant go to Watford now. Not happy
soulsister Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 sadly boycotting it wont change anything lcfc are only obligated to agree to one tv match per season. otherwise they get points deduction from football league the thai owners will agree to anything that means extra revenue think its 80k a match. and they can publicise it to the thais its all about king power' i truly believe we have lost our beloved club to a marketing machine.... retailing the brand of lcfc is far more lucrative than losing a few season ticket holders loyal fans dont stand a chance..' money talks in football these days.
