cjslcfc Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Well we all knew it was coming. Still can't help but be very annoyed though
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 If I was a ST Holder I would boycott this game, and have some form of protest outside the club before hand.
LCFC FOX Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 If I was a ST Holder I would boycott this game, and have some form of protest outside the club before hand. Who cares really At least we still have a football club. Night games create more of an atmosphere for us anyway so I'm not bothered. Plus we get money for being on SKY when we are in financial trouble.
Babylon Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Shock Horror... one home Saturday game in the whole second half of the season. Disgrace. Who cares really At least we still have a football club. Night games create more of an atmosphere for us anyway so I'm not bothered. Plus we get money for being on SKY when we are in financial trouble. Eh?
cjslcfc Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Just counted. Only 7 of our 23 home games will have been Saturday 3pm. (Dunno if that is 100% right but doing off memory) Here they are: Peterborough Bristol City Palace Ipswich Barnsley Cardiff Sheff Weds Have I missed any?

1964FOX Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Just as we expected then so gladi will be on a night shift straight after the game.
5waller5 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Great!!! I love friday night games!!! I honestly prefer them .... straight from work and then for beers after. Perfect!
hackneyfox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 STs will be well down next season, I won't be getting one, the cost per game for me this season must be on a par with Arsenal.
ousefox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 No surprise there then, again credit to Sky for giving us enough notice too. Makes me less angry that they've changed all those games. The fact we won't have a Saturday 3pm for another 5 months is frustrating though.
cjslcfc Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Tbh our recent record on Sky is decent so it may be a blessing in disguise
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Absolutely fookin disgraceful! Any money the club get from SKY for the Watford Game should be put straight into making the tickets dirt cheap as an apology for dicking the fans over yet again! Maybe then we can get a half decent crowd!
Weller in Tights Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Who cares really At least we still have a football club. Night games create more of an atmosphere for us anyway so I'm not bothered. Plus we get money for being on SKY when we are in financial trouble. "Who cares really?" !!!!!! Well all those season ticket holders that bring their children. I have had a season ticket for my children since they were 6. I found it hard to justify to the Mrs that they should attend a night game right up until they were about 11. Even then I have to admit, they don't get back home and in bed before 10:30 and are knackered the next day. My choice you could say, but when I buy the season tickets I do not expect as few as 7 games in a season to be on a Saturday afternoon. Also what about people who know they are free on Saturdays for games but may have work commitments mid week? They will expect the odd game might be mid week and allow for that when considering whether to buy a season ticket. This season for them though is ridiculous. Your argument that atmosphere is better doesn't always follow, especially when a load of fans choose to stay at home and watch it on the TV. This often reduces the away support numbers and it is a healthy away support that adds to the atmosphere. It's just wrong that so many games are moved.
hackneyfox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I asked my lad, who is 7, if he wanted to go from London to Leicester last Saturday for the game, he didn't, hardly surprising when the last home game we could do was in December. Kids of that age are the future for this club, Sky are screwing the club.
lcfcsnow Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Sky should at least make it so the amount of home games shown are equal to away matches, the majority of live matches this season has been our home games and it really messes with season ticket holders.
Fox92 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Sadly, we all knew this was going to happen. It is ridiculous now.
