Guesty Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 There's the empty club shop at the Ricoh. Apparently the stock was all put in the back of an artic earlier.

Harry - LCFC Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Wouldn't wish extinction on any club, except MK Dons, if you can call them a club.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Oh give over. Wishing ill on clubs you don't like is nothing new and frankly what goes around comes around. I hated it when they laughed at us for going down, it was horrible, but that doesn't mean I didn't do the same back. Are you telling me you didn't? I couldn't give a fvck if their fans feel like shit, it's not our club. For the record I can't say I'm pleased, I don't really care whether they fold or not, they'd probably be better off starting from scratch in some ways. They probably won't though. But I'm struggling to see why people sympathise with other clubs so much. It makes no difference to us. If he doesn't shed a tear for them why should he get stick for it? Empathy?
yorkie1999 Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 They are definitely in a bit of a sticky situation, in fact, to quote blackadder, there's not been a situation so sticky since sticky the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun..
Guest Bilo Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Coventry will be watching San Marino eagerly tonight. Scouting and all that.
Bayfox Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 If the fword were in trouble a little bit of me would care. But the m69 derby ffs. They are a shit club with a shit team even when they hung around the top flight like a bad smell, they were still a nothing club. There fans really are retards. Sorry to any retards. Really don't care if they go bust and disapear only a shame they cant take franchise fc with them.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Wouldn't wish extinction on any club, except F##### if you can call them a club. Sorted
johnny the fox Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Why should we care, when the vast majority of people in coventry are indifferent about the tinpot outfit.. mickey mouse as asked not to be associated with them or he'll take legal action.
Harry - LCFC Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Wouldn't wish extinction on any club, except F#####, if you can call them a club. Sorted No. MK Dons are far worse than Nottingham Forest. They're the only English "club" I wish didn't exist. You might not like Forest but there really is no comparison with that corrupt, despicable little franchise in Milton Keynes. Your little "correction" to my post is actually wrong.

Your opinion buddy fair enough but I actually FOOKIN HATE that scummy bunch of twats called F#####
Carl the Llama Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Did I love it when they got relegated? Course I did. Do I want their club to disappear entirely and however many fans they have to go through the resulting emotional turmoil? No, I don't want anybody to go through that, even the apparently universally despised MK fans.
Jace Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 This is how I will always remember Coventry City and their fans
Harry - LCFC Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Your opinion buddy fair enough but I actually FOOKIN HATE that scummy bunch of twats called F##### Yeah but surely you want to play them? If Forest dropped out you'd never get the chance to be part of that 8000 following or see us beat them at their place on the last day of the season (hopefully) to secure our position in the POs. With MK Dons it's different - Wombles don't want to be playing them, they came out and said they didn't want to complete their fixture in the FA Cup. Sorry if I was a bit aggresive but I think there's a big difference between club rivalries and the MK Dons situation.

Unfortunately I grew up in Loughborough in the 70's and 80's when F##### were winning stuff and their fans were (and still are) awful, a bunch of big headed full of themselves wanted to rub your noses in it sort of fans, truly awful fans. I would genuinely dance on their grave if the red scum went bust! Sorry but I would I hate them that much
Callabinho Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 If they do fold, then there will literally be nothing in the city, bar a bombed church.......... And plenty of bins to throw cats in.

Hugo Sanchez Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 I would say 2 threads on them show them to be as some important to us. I wouldn't won't them to under. I would find it hilarious though. If they end up at Hinckley though. The ricoh was always too ambitious for them. They should have stayed at Highfield Rd.
brockmyster Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Glad theyre having issues, but genuinely couldnt answer if id be bothered by them going out of business, hate them so much
Kitchandro Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Again, just because it's 'nothing new' doesn't mean it's right. People are different and you go ahead wishing ill on other clubs mate, I won't, okay? So what if it makes no difference to us? So you enjoy watching clubs and their fans suffer? Quite frankly that makes you a moron. I don't particularly like Coventry but that doesn't mean I should 'fook them' and laugh at their failures and potential implosion. You have your opinion and I'll have mine, okay? Done. If you actually had that attitude we wouldn't be having this conversation. Wishing ill on clubs you don't like is half of football. I love to see bad things happen to the likes of Cov, Forest, Derby, Man Utd, Chelsea, Millwall, etc. That doesn't make me a moron, it makes me a normal football fan. You wouldn't bat an eyelid if people laughed at them getting relegated but all of a sudden people should sympathise and care for them now? Bullshit. It's fvcking football not their lives so yeh I will laugh at them, just as many have done to us when we've had bad times. It's swings and roundabouts, revelling in others failure makes victory all the sweeter. That's why local derbies are such great games. I think you're being rather childish.
Kitchandro Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Empathy? Sorry but I don't empathise or sympathise with fans of some shit club from the West Midlands. If some people do then fine, but calling me a moron because I don't weep for someone else's football club is ridiculous. Like I said, I've no idea why people seem so happy to revel in other club's relegations etc. yet they get all sensitive as soon as they have financial trouble. Those people are just kidding themselves, if you don't empathise with one don't pretend you do with the other.
5waller5 Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 This is how I will always remember Coventry City and their fans Just for these thick witless simpletons I'm finding Cov's woes rather entertaining. I also worked with a few cov fans years ago who were so proud of being the club in the top flight for the most amount for years behind about 5 other clubs .... it was literally the worst claim to fame ever. You could tell the ricoh was too big for them .... they never got round to decorating it or finishing it!!!!
