Ricky Hill Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 The man himself has said on Twitter that he's looking to get into management 'this summer'. Could the King Power be his destination? He attends a lot of games to watch Kasper. Just an idea, I'm probably putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, but stranger things have happened.
Ricky Hill Posted 29 March 2013 Author Posted 29 March 2013 Look at it this way, Schmeichel won't walk in to a top job will he? He's clearly got contacts here and knows the owners, who will be making contingency plans if we don't make the play offs. Pearson is walking a tightrope, if we don't make the play offs, he's gone.
Guy Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Who knows what might happen if we fail to make the play offs?? Although the Thais would be more likely to bring in somebody experienced like Redknapp, Schmeichel might be a pro-active and bold move to draught in, in some significant capacity. He'd probably be better off as a no.2 to start with though alongside somebody like Redknapp. I'd say it would be a dead cert that Pearson won't be given another season after this if we don't even make the play offs. Even if we reach the play offs but then lose in them, I'd be amazed if he was then kept on.
Guest Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Pearson is walking a tightrope Well, it's probably still better than Birch's half time entertainment
kingfox Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, Henning Berg as his assistant and Peter Schmeichel as goalkeeping coach. First signing of the 2013/2014 season, Jesse Lingard on loan.
MPH Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Give me strength. " God give me strength" I think if i prayed that i'd also be praying for him to give me bail money too on this one..
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager, Henning Berg as his assistant and Peter Schmeichel as goalkeeping coach. First signing of the 2013/2014 season, Jesse Lingard on loan. It was going so well til the loan bit
Crinklyfox Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 How many times does a good footballer with no managerial experience make a success of his first management job. I don't think we should even contemplate it.... Expect those with better memories to come up with a list now...
Fox92 Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 Can he at least teach his son how to take goal kicks first?
connorlcfc Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 to be honest don't think he would make a great manager but you never know , maybe he should be first team coach or something but not manager not yet anyway
kingfox Posted 29 March 2013 Posted 29 March 2013 It was going so well til the loan bit How about chucking Solskjaer, Berg and Schmeichel's mate in there as well then. Phil Neville!!! I hear loads of Leicester fans want him.
