Needs to utilise his pace more Konchesky - 1 - Rubbish. 10+ Mistakes Morgan - 0 - Not applicable Keane - 7 - Acted as a leader Drinkwater - 4 - Nothing went right for him. Poor passes and poor decisions James - 5 - Same a Drinkwater but a bit neater with his passing Knockaert - 6 Didn't stop running all game. Some good deliveries Schlupp - 5- Decent attacking threat. Didn't do much wrong Nugent - 3 Wrong decisions. Misplaced Passes Wood - 5 Held up the ball well and had some chances Kane - 0 Utter Dog **** King - 5 Good passes. Beginning to wonder if he has a bit of an attitude problem. Keane - 7 Drinkwater - 3 - One of the worst displays I have seen from a Leicester midfielder, needs to be dropped/rested. James - 6 - Knockaert - 7 - Just for his endeavour Schlupp - 5.5 - Looked sloppy but understandable considering he was expecting to playing in a forward position. Some good deliveries Hmm - agreed re his running but some of his first touches and his attempts at fancy passing let him down and often get our midfield out of position because he shouldn't be turning it over in spaces he does. Schlupp - 5- Decent attacking threat. Didn't do much wrong Not sure - he looked lost for bulk of the game and like he didn't want to make a proactive decision. Nugent - 3 Wrong decisions. Misplaced Passes. Agreed - he looks right out of form. Wood - 5 Held up the ball well and had some chances Disagree - should hold it up more and he doesn't work hard enough on 50/50 contests and when he loses out he seems to drop his bundle and doesn't chase. Kane - 0 Utter Dog **** Didn't see him so can't comment. King - 5 Good passes. Didn't do much wrong Agreed - maybe should have been on earlier. Should have been a simple clearing header but he fluffed his lines. Otherwise, pretty steady. Morgan N/A Keane 8 Defended very well. He's going to be one hell of a player. Konchesky 4 First half was a shambles. Embarrassing, that has never been how to play football. Knockaert 5 Lots of endeavour but nothing much came off for him. Set pieces weren't threatening at all. Was very sloppy in possession. James 8 We've massively missed his influence in the middle. Tireless performance despite being out for so long. Drinkwater 5 Just very average, nothing more, nothing less. Schlupp 5 Thought he struggled at left back. Didn't seem to have any confidence going forward, a total contrast to his exciting display at Derby. Nugent 4 Shocking again. No influence on the game at all. Wood 4 Tucked firmly in Shittu's back pocket. Like Bambi on ice. Worrying loss of form for both him & Nugent. King 6 Tidy little stint I thought. No huge impact though. Done every time at left back, did **** all with it every time going forward Nugent 3 - Somethings wrong with him Wood 5 - No change from Shittu. Completely the wrong balls to be playing to him Subs : - King 3 - Offered nothing. Had the chance to twat one on the volley but bottled it. Kane 1 - Shit NP 2 - They were there to be beaten even with 10 men but played to their strengths instead of ours. Why not use the 3rd sub? Vardy for all of his faults would have ran more than Wood or Kane and probably drawn more fouls from Shittu due to his size. I like NP but he has no fvcking idea how to stop this rot. Didn't do much wrong This, but id give Keane a 9. For an 18 year old (?) loanee, he did an outstanding job of covering both CB positions for the entire game. Sharp off his line, confident in the air, and some fantastic stops that kept us in the game. James - 8. Great game. So much energy and intelligence. He has a great touch and does so much work in the middle for the team. If you can't see that from tonight's performance, I'm afraid your opinion on football can be considered void across the board. I don't think it's a coincidence we've struggled without him. Keane - 7. Solid and good with his feet. Rest of the team: 5.5. Good effort. Not much in terms of creativity but in that was largely down to having 10 men. Except: Nugent & Wood - 3 - Offered little. Okay, they had little service, but what they did get they wasted. Really poor passing, never looked threatening going forward - Nugent - 5 Didn't make decent choices. Morgan -minus 5, your captain and central rock CANNOT get himself sent off so early in a game. Cost us the match. Keane - 7 - Good performance Drinkwater - 6 Wasn't as bad as people are making out James - 7 Thought he had a really good game. Knockaert 3 Ran around hard but gave the ball away more than a dozen times. The reason we didn't win the game. Schlupp - 4 made mistakes and gave the ball away a lot but also saved some situations having to play defense when he'd been selected for a more attacking role. Good shot stopping, commanded his area better than of late, better distribution. As Schmeicel appealed loudly for, their player handled the ball just prior to the goal. RDL - 7 Returning from injury and down to 10 men was bound to tire. Thought he was one of our better players. Konchesky - 6 Moved over into a slightly unfamiliar position but did ok, though a few silly mistakes. Morgan - 0 Clear sending off imo under the rules. Pratt, but forgiven for all his other superb reliable previous performances. Keane - 8 What a cool head for his age this young man has. Drinkwater - 6 Worked hard. James - 6 As above, does the non glamourus stuff, good to see him back. Again just back from injury. Knockaert - 4 Poor passing, persistently gave the ball away when down to 10 men which put us back under pressure. Worked hard but all fur coat and no knickers. Schlupp - 5 Not too bad, would have liked to see him run a bit more at his man at times but we don't know what his orders were after the sending off. Nugent - 4 Poor but industrious. Wood - 2 For a big man seems a bit of a fairy, needs to put himself about more. A burly Shittu had him in his pocket. Not worth his place. Unlucky for their goal but partially to blame. Morgan N/A - Unlucky that Keogh the cvnt went down so easily but no complaints with the decision. Keane 7.5 - Seems to get better every game. Led the defence like he's been in the game for years. Konch 5.5 - Made some mistakes that luckily didn't cost us, but considering he was out of position for the majority of the game he did ok. Schlupp 6 - Effort was there but some silly mistakes, but again was out of position (he's not a LB, I don't care what anyone says). Drinkwater 4 - Started the game well but was back to his usual shite self. Surprised Nige had the balls to take his bum-boy off. James 7 - We've definitely missed him. Battled well and covered every blade of grass. Works well with King. Knocky 6 - Offered a bit of creativity but he holds on to the ball far too often. Gave the ball away a lot. Nugent 5.5 - First half was shite. Second half was better. Gave his usual 100% effort. Wood 6 - Very surprised with some of the ratings for him. He ran his socks off. His off the ball work was brilliant considering he was almost on his own up top for most the game with Nuge going wide. You could tell he was knackered when he came off. Not a lot he can do with some of the hoofball we ended up playing (I know he's a "target man" but the service he got was awful). King 6.5 - Did well when he came on. Works well with James. Kane 4 - Couldn't really make anything happen. Some of his touches were awful. One thing that surprised me is NP didn't bring Dyer on. The second half of that game, and even parts of the first half, was crying out for pace. Having said that, good to see NP being positive after the sending off and keeping 2 up front. Just feel a bit sorry for him because we deserved something from the game, and going down to 10 so early on was a calamity. Also, Stuart Twatwell is a ****. Yes it was a red card - no arguments there. But he was so petty, looked like he didn't want the game to flow. Millwall should have had a few players off purely for second bookable offences.
