Post Match - Birmingham 2-2...Let it begin...

Would of come on sooner, but my internet is playing up.

Utterly abysmal tonight, conceding more late goals and the team just aren't working together. Their first goal was far too easy, pass, pass, goal, utterly shit defending. Second goal, Nugent was clueless going back is bad enough, but to do a heavy touch like that then concede a penalty, wouldn't be surprised if he is dropped next game.

Substitutions were shocking again, left them far too late, bringing on Kane late on brings us back luck, did bugger all in a small space of time, and we happened to concede just as we brought him on...again.

Also I'm fed up with Drinkwater's performances, yet again he was flaming useless, far too negative and we have no urgency when he is playing, totally lost form and deserves to be sold, overrated idiot. Soon as he went off, we attacked with pace, James and King clicked were winning balls, closing down and we scored.

Knockaert is being an absolute w*****r on twitter, but he should of been brought on, far better option than Kane. Also where the hell is Waghorn and Gallagher, Waghorn offers much more than Kane and Vardy, and the way Gallagher played for the Under 21's he was very unlucky not to be in the team either.

Players have lost there way, and going by Pearson's tactics he has definitely lost it now, Schlupp up against Davies, playing down the middle, with Wood out wide...yeah fookin great.

Yes seriously. Find the posts where game after game I have defended NP otherwise shut the **** up and think before you type...

Considering you used your 'think before you type' line on me too when I was fairly sure I'd done a good amount of thinking before I typed, it might be interesting to see what you have said in criticism of Pearson in the past. And I don't mean that in the patronising sense, it would actually be interesting to see what sorts of things you've pinned on him.

So then have a look and see then if you are that interested. You will see that I thought we should have got rid games ago if you look. At no point tonight though can you blame him for Nugents rush of blood to the head and anybody that does is a ****wit.

Not been this pissed off after a game for a long time.

I can't be arsed to construct proper sentences...

- We played well but our strikers still aren't causing enough of a threat.

- Nugent's head has gone, he's been poor for weeks. He shouldn't have started and should have been taken off early in second half as it was like playing with 10 men he was that poor.

- Why our most creative player isn't getting on the pitch, when we are struggling going forward, is beyond me.

- James and King played very well.

- Birmingham were impressive and always a threat.

- Pearson can't be solely blamed for tonight, but he wasn't faultless and most of the blame for these last 13 games falls at his door in my opinion.

- Schlupp did well and was a threat, but he's young and rough round the edges still.

- We give the ball away too much.

- I fear we've blown it now. How we've blown it has been incredible and I've never seen such a collapse.

- Pearson can't complain if he gets the boot, his mismanagement has been the reason for this collapse.

I am well and truly sick to death of it now. It's just bollocks. Why are we such bottlers?

Can we have a dig at the Brum players?

  • Played in pink
  • Their LW looked like the hunch back of Notre Dame's 12 year old son
  • Wade Eliott looks like a squirrel went into a salon in Essex
  • Their CB is a fat pub player who made one good tackle
  • Curtis Davie$
  • Nicola Zigic- Freak of nature. Stig of the dump on roids.

Ahhh feel so much better :)

You're very aggressive about this and don't appear to have considered any of the compelling counter arguments: Namely that our performance wasn't that good, which he should take blame for, and that moments of brilliance / calamity are what, to a degree, decide all football results and so, yes, Pearson must take responsibility for this one. No-one is seriously arguing that Pearson was goading Nugent to run thirty yards with the ball into his own box then hack down a player 'cos that's how we do it in training'. If you think they are, then you really need to re-read the posts before getting so lippy.

Yes, anyone who believed that would be a 'f***wit', but that's not what people are saying. They are saying that that moment was the most decisive one in the result, and Pearson has to take responsibility for the result.

And yes, I was interested. I don't think Pearson should go, but I was surprised to hear you do (or did). People have dished it out a bit to you this evening, but you've given your fair share back and I just felt your arguments would be strengthened by you providing a quote or two, rather than furiously demanding that the other chap did.

I am absolutely sick to death of all you fickle Leicester City fans, and I'm ashamed to say that you support the same club. I don't even know where to start with this post. Maybe the Nugent slating.

David Nugent, plays in a blue shirt. When he was on his goal scoring streaks, I bet you all sucked him off, you were all there behind him because he was scoring, now he isn't scoring and has made ONE mistake tonight, which wasn't even a penalty, you're all slating him off and saying he's awful, you would of took him off before half time, grow up and stick behind him? At the end of the day, he's still in a blue Leicester City shirt and his heart is for the club! He plays week in week out, he gives it a shot, at least he wasn't like Beckford and was completely lazy! He moves doesn't he? He wins the ball doesn't he? He wins flick ons? He jumps? Nugent plays his heart out and gives it 100% so stick behind him!

Next, fans leaving 5 minutes before the end? If you pay to go and watch your football team, if you're chanting "Loyal Supporters", SHOW IT. If we concede, don't boo, get behind the lads! Start singing more! Don't give up and walk away! If you're leaving 88 minutes into a game and the players see, their heads drop and think why are we even here?! Stick behind the boys! Chant and sing your hearts out!

Also, don't boo. Why boo players in your team? So what if they're having a bad game, so what if they're not Cristiano Ronaldo/Lionel Messi typed players. This is the Championship for crying out loud. Possibly the most competitive league in the whole of the world. Does no body realise that? So what if we have threw points away, so what if we're getting a draw and we should be taking the 3 points? What would you rather have? 1 point or none at all?

If you're going to call yourself a Leicester City fan, GET BEHIND THE BOYS! AND MOST OF ALL, GET BEHIND NIGEL PEARSON! He's our current manager, he's currently taking control, so what if we've had a slip up? Boo'ing and going mad at players isn't going to help. Grow up, get a pair, they're infront of 20000 fans+ a week, they're pressured, you know we're not going to win every game! We're Leicester City! We make everything difficult! That's how we do things! Get behind the boys! Play-off's are still on! Don't leave early, stay behind and get behind those 11 on the field! COME ON CITY!

Just stepping back from tonight for a moment.

Is there a team in worse form than us in the country from the start of March?

Telford in the BSP haven't won for 32 games, a conference record.

I'll take a go at that.

NFP has created a team that no longer has a viable gameplan, skill, flair and any kind of proper, attacking football has been ruthlessly expunged from the side so that all that is left is hard work and effort.

Nugent was required, by the very ethos that NFP has created, to show willing and effort and chase back to the edge of our area even though there was (originally) no threat to our goal.

He made an ill judged 'center forward's tackle' on the edge of our box, no excuses but the reason he was in that position is firmly down to the manager.

And yet you were still out-classed and out-passed by us, and only ever looked a threat on corners

Uh oh!

Only a threat on corners? King, Schlupp x2 and Nugent all missed chances not from corners.

Errrrrr...ich don't think so.

You basically took good corners, and well done on that. The only other chance was when Paul Robinson tried a kamikaze header back to Butland and your man nipped in. But apart from that we restricted you to long range shooting which were dragged wide of the post.

Very comfortable I was with Leicester's rare attacking excursions, so comfortable I watched the game in the bath.

How is what he did the managers fault. He had a rush of blood and messed up. You are a sensible poster and one I take the time to read but you can at no point blame Pearson for what Nugent did tonight. We may as well blame NP for Schlupp hitting the bar as he put him in the team and where he made him play meant he was going to be in that position. It is alright to be down about the result but it still doesn't make it NP's fault. If Nugent had just twatted the ball in to the stand rather than trying to be clever then there would not even be a debate now. He was near the centre circle when he first touched the ball.

Did you watch the game? Did you not see Schlupp through on goal? King run onto his own header and have a 1-on-1? Nugent miss a clear cut chance?

That 'somebody else' is Kingfox. The trick to not looking like a moron is to disagree with Kingfox on just about everything.

2-2 Disappointing not to take all three points, but an exciting game with an cracking atmosphere. Some positives but too many negatives Nugent for me at the moment looks out of place in this squad, Wood didn't have enough shots on target or at all, we didn't close them down enough allowed them too much possession.

Also off the field did anyone notice the trouble in the bar in Burnmoor Street, smoke coming out of the pub? any news on that.

Why don't you come back with proof that HE(me) is an apologist for NP. You said it. Prove it. If not shut the **** up and think before you type...
