Guest Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Even if he did have a row with NP it isn't the end of the world. In any squad there is friction. Anybody who believe that all the players get on are nuts its like anything else, some get on some don't it's just what happens on the pitch that matters. I've heard it alleged that Schmeical and Morgan haven't always got on and have squared up in training before now but both are amongst our top performers. So long as NP has told Knocky what he thinks and Knocky accepted that then that should be the end of it. I would guess other players whose time at Leicester has ended abruptly perhaps haven't taken NP's opinion lying down and NP has no choice in that case but to do what he thinks is best. Knocky needs to start using the skill and stop giving the ball away whenever he gets it if he wants to get back into the team.
SmithyFox12 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 If he does something spectacular against Bolton everyone will be raving about him though, it's alright having a moan about him now but i'm sure a few of you will be back up his arse when he does good again.
MrSpaM Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 The best thing i've seen him do in the past 3 months is give the ball away at every available oppertunity. I'm not surprised he's been dropped
5waller5 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 No he didn't he passed it to Nuge. Really just go back and read all your posts over the last few months and subsititute NP's name for womeone else - MON if you want . You'll see what a dick you've been. Well clearly I'd be a dick if i subsituted a talentless moron's name with a gifted and brilliant manager!!!! Sorry you don't agree that NP is useless ... clearly the worst run in LCFC second division history for 40 years is something you enjoy and want to defend. Personally I think it's unforgivable. But then I'm a "proper" fan and not someone that is a fan of keeping useless managers in £800kpa jobs when they clearly aren't upto it.

By your logic us going on a great run earlier in the season, better than many managers in this division for us makes him instantly better than those managers.
5waller5 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 By your logic us going on a great run earlier in the season, better than many managers in this division for us makes him instantly better than those managers. No it doesn't. I think you'll remember us constantly arguing all season with me saying that NP hasn't got what it takes. 4 games left and 8th. Carry on defending him if you like .... Seems more and more ridiculous to do so as we get nearer and nearer to abject failure.
5waller5 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 By your logic us going on a great run earlier in the season, better than many managers in this division for us makes him instantly better than those managers. How do you even make that into my logic?? I can't even understand the connection between what I've said and your assertion that's my logic!
Guest Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 How do you even make that into my logic?? I can't even understand the connection between what I've said and your assertion that's my logic! You confirmed your credentials by stating that he's the worst manager in the last 40 years - I could name 10 worse managers Leicester have had in the last 40 years, I can probably name 10 worse in this century alone. But having gone back to 40 years ago (which includes Frank McLintock) why stop there. I'd say that the manager we had 40 years ago was actually better than NP and possibly the managers for a further 15 years back from there were too. Do you have to try hard to be such a fool or does it just come naturally?
Guest Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Furthermore basing your fact on a losing streak is further ridiculed when you consider that he probably has the best (or near it) win percentage of ant City manager ever. Stats can be so deceiving.

In our entire football club history only one manager has had a worse run of 13 games in the second division and that was 40 years ago. It must be hard work defending Pearson against the facts. But you carry on ..... I wonder who the fool is?

I wonder who the fool is? of course that would make him far worse than a manager who won less over a season - I can see your logic.
theessexfox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Exactly .... he was deep into our half, wasn't he on his own up front at the time?? And yet he was playing behind the midfield?? We just have no shape because we play this "everyone defend" that brings these mistakes on. Sorry just realised i originally typed box ... i meant half!!! He wasn't deep in our box, it was their corner (I think) which was cleared, of course you'll have someone just in your own half (his starting position) to mop things up!
smudger63 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 By your logic us going on a great run earlier in the season, better than many managers in this division for us makes him instantly better than those managers. I take it you mean our two five game winning runs that brought us 30 points from 10 games, rather than the 31 points we have picked up from the other 32 games, when you talk about our great runs earlier in the season!
CupidStunt Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Is it just our team that has so many players falling out with their manager? Every-time I come on here it seems "another" player has fallen out with the boss There seems to be a pattern emerging, and for me, for players to be constantly falling out of favour so often, points the finger in the other direction. Putting players with big ego's in their place is one thing, but understanding why they have so called "big ego's" is another. Picking a group of players to go out and do a job is one thing, but managing people, which is arguably the most important part of a being a decent manager is another. Come on Pearson, sort it out A defeat against Bolton and the season is over, if it isn't already. Biggest collapse since wall street 1929,
Guest Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 And you think FT is the place where you find out about players falling out with managers?
dannythefox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 He could be a great player under a decent manager but for me even when he's playing well he gives the simple ball away 6-7times a match. He's got to change to win me over he trys the tricks at the wrong times.
Babylon Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 How do you even make that into my logic?? I can't even understand the connection between what I've said and your assertion that's my logic! It's quite simple, a) You said he was the worst manager in 40 years b) When people attack the comment you say he was responsible for the worst run in 40 years. Your argument clearly links the two things. So by that logic him going on a good run makes him better than those who haven't done that. Just as you say he's worse than those who haven't been on such a losing run. Now I've just seen you have commented that your 40 years was a "grenade" comment, seemingly which many are.

No I meant when we lost 10 games, what do you think I meant? But if you want specifics I was talking about the 6 and 7 games unbeaten run, more if you want to include cup games, and 6 straight home victories.

Babylon Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 So knocky and twitter then? He's a tw*t and twitter is shit.
neiltheblue Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I'm pretty fed up with NP, but anybody who thinks he's worse than Sousa, Holloway, Megson, Allen, Worthington, Kelly, Levein, Bassett, Taylor, Lee, Pleat, Hamilton or McClintock has a very poor knowledge of the club and the game as a whole. It might be best if you take some time to learn about the history of the club so you can formulate more sensible opinions.
ramadaone Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Talkingballs is citing a tweet from someone or other saying that NP had a row with a foreign player on Saturday evening. Just sayin'..... Not on Sat nite and not with a foreign player.....
Bluetintedspecs Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Unfortunately for Knocky he was signed as a flair player, and then told to work harder and defend more. It's ruined his game. It's the same as Nugent - what on earth is a striker doing giving away a penalty?? He shouldn't even be near our own box!!! Oh, yes, it's NP tells them to defend as a team and puts far too much emphasis on it .... getting rid of flair and getting strikers making challenges they shouldn't ever be making. Yeah but he ran forty yards in the wrong direction, like a school kid who's forgotten which end he's attacking, before making the challenge Still can't get the passage of play out of my mind waller
Cropwellfox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Not on Sat nite and not with a foreign player..... Adding 2+2 to a post in another thread is Marshall the latest in the line?
5waller5 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Yeah but he ran forty yards in the wrong direction, like a school kid who's forgotten which end he's attacking, before making the challenge Still can't get the passage of play out of my mind waller I know what you mean .... it was ridiculous .... if anything it smacked of a player trying TOO hard ..... wanted to rectify his mistake and it just got worse everytime he touched the ball!!!! No I meant when we lost 10 games, what do you think I meant? But if you want specifics I was talking about the 6 and 7 games unbeaten run, more if you want to include cup games, and 6 straight home victories. Cup games don't count.
