turkish14 Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 Wouldn't want to be a fan right now..... Been top 2 most of the season, lost today and top spot. If brentford win today's late kick off by 2 goals brentford go second knocking Doncaster to third. Guess who Doncaster last game against? Yes Brentford away!

If brentford win today's late kick off by 2 goals brentford go second knocking Doncaster to third. Guess who Doncaster last game against? Yes Brentford away! Hartlepool 1-1 Brentford. Final score. Doncaster just need a draw now, should be a cracker. Bournemouth promoted. Nice away day
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 April 2013 Posted 20 April 2013 If we play Bournemouth next season we all know we'll get them away in February as usual with good aways!
Part Of The Crowd Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 Doncaster were hands down the worst side we've played in both games this season. I've not seen a worse performance than when we played them at home in several years. I think they are a team that are effective against the physical teams that dominate this division, but have any guile at all and you will tear them to pieces. Unless there's massive changes I'd expect to see them come straight back down with a record low points total. They really were that bad.
SystonFox Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 They nearly always cost me in bets. Bet on them at home and they lose. Bet against them anywhere and they scrape a win or draw usually netting a last min goal to kill me off
marko Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Unbelievable scenes at Brentford. 94th minute 0-0 Brentford awarded penalty, score and they're promoted. Hits the bar bounces down just in front of the line, Doncaster get possession and score on the break to make it 0-1 and win League One.

That's the sort of thing you make up as a joke in the pre-match thread.
Fox92 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Glad they are back in our division. Would like Brentford to come up, also, via play offs.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Glad they are back in our division. Would like Brentford to come up, also, via play offs. London. Pub on each corner of the ground. Terracing. All the ingredients for a superb away day.
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Even though it's a shit ground Doncaster would have been a good away day last time had we played acceptably. The pub near the ground was great.

whoareyaaa Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Mental celebrations from the players when they scored the goal would love to see that again. one of the players was shagging a invisible person.
SystonFox Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 You can't even write a fairytale ending like that. Simply unreal
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Outrageous. Though how the Brentford fan managed to keep recording I don't know. I'd have smashed my phone up. I like Doncaster as it's where my late Grandpa was born, but as Bilo said previously, the away end at Brentford looks amazing so here's hoping they come up via the playoffs
ealingfox Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 Feel awful for Brentford, local team and all that. Worst part is having come from being quite literally one kick away from automatic promotion, they are probably now in the worst position going into the play-offs. Can't see how they will recover from that mentally.

The God Emperor Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 got loads of family from donny so got a soft spot for them. facebook feed is full of videos of this from the donny lot!
Corky Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 In 20 seconds you go from possibly finishing third to winning the league. Remarkable story.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 28 April 2013 Posted 28 April 2013 The kind of stuff you live for as an away fan.
Happy Fox Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Brian Flynn has decided to take on the football of director role so won't be manager. NP's new job perhaps?
Fox92 Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 NP's new job perhaps? Why do you have to say 'NPs new job', every time a job is free? He is still our manager and we have a big game tomorrow.
Corky Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Why do you have to say 'NPs new job', every time a job is free? He is still our manager and we have a big game tomorrow. Because we're getting Di Matteo in, so NP needs to look elsewhere. Isn't that right Happy Fox?
Fox92 Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 NP's new job perhaps? What you rekon now then, considering for the past three months you've had him lined up for every vacancy?
Happy Fox Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 What you rekon now then, considering for the past three months you've had him lined up for every vacancy? If he gets us promotion he keeps his job simple as that, and as a City fan I hope we f**king do.
