Would it be worth the Police popping past his place if they his address details can be obtained. If people know his real name they could contact his housing association and make them aware.

21st Century Fox Posted 23 April 2013 Author Posted 23 April 2013 I'm pretty sure he mentioned a nurse that went round to fit his catheter (if that was what he had) and that it was being taken out at the end of last week, so if there was any medical emergency I'm sure that nurse would have sorted him out when they went to remove the catheter. He's probably recuperating in bed somewhere knocking out haikus (not a euphemism).

We might all disagree with each other from time to time,but I think it's fantastic that when we fear something is up or out of the norm people step up to show a caring side.Mind you most don't know I exist,but Ken is one of the forums characters.Hats off to all. I've got to agree with the above, great post.

They would then look to do a welfare check or inform the Police. The situation just strikes me as old that's all and not so long ago something happened similar to someone I knew and well....it wasn't a great result.

I'm sure Ken will appreciate the concern everyone has for him but probably bare in mind he'll more than likely read this thread when he gets on here next so I don't know whether we need to get that morbid. We really haven't got much to go on to get into crisis mode other than someone hasn't logged on to a forum for nearly a week. Granted it's odd for Ken not to be on here for so long but there could be countless innocent reasons why. I'll try and get hold of DNO again tomorrow as they'll more than likely know the deal. Like I said it's great that everyone is pitching together for one of our own and I'm sure Ken would be touched whether he's ill or not.
