From the look of that organisation I fear you could be waiting a while.

Must be an easier way we have all forget, could we just ring some sort of NHS line and ask for information?

Was thinking the same. If there is genuine concern wouldn't it be a good idea to actually ring the DNO, the hospital, the police...Ken even? At the moment there's just three days of hand wringing on the internet. Sign of the times I guess.

If someone is able to email me his full name.. Or just say it here if they dont think he would mind.. ( i THINK its Ken Huddle )i'll give the hospitals A call tomorrow I seem to have a vague memory of him saying he wasnt doing too wel and might have to pay the LRI a visit..... I have plenty of friends who work at the Infirmary still so we'd be able to find him IF he is still there...

I would have thought the chaps at mydownnotout.org.uk (or similar) know what's going on. I believe he has a contract of employment with them so if he hasn't been turning up they will likely know why

I don't think they'd tell you anything due to confidentiality, do you expect them to tell a random person off the street who has spoke to him on the Internet why he's not at work and what's wrong with him!!!

If you approach it the right way, you can get some information.

Could just say you know Ken and haven't heard from him for a while and you'd just like to know if he's been in work. You don't have to mention anything about Internet.

If they say that he hasn't been in work and they haven't had any contact with him, then you either take their word for it and raise a bit more of an alarm.

If they say that he hasn't been at work because he has taken sick leave, then that's that.

He could have simply lost his internet connection and is unable to get online... or does someone actually know that he is un well.

That did cross my mind but surely he would go to the library or an internet cafe for some time online if that were the case.

Does anyone know if he still plays any online games? I know he used to play Travian loads, and I think Tribal Wars, could always ask on their respective forums if so, as they generally have a fairly decent community side.

Be good to see if glenny_fox can get any info from DNO too

Considering his latest posts were about feeling unwell and having a catheter placed inside him, I think we actually know he is unwell.

OK, so I've phoned around some different people and managed to get hold of the project leader at DNO. Unfortunately he hasn't heard anything from Ken since last week, when they told him he didn't have to come in and to take it easy and recuperate. So he said this has now been flagged up as a bit strange that no one's heard from him and he's going to see if he can find out what's going on. He's got my number and is going to give me a call if he hears anything.

I'm sure he's mentioned a brother but I'm not sure if he lives local.

He did, from what I remember he mentioned at xmas about possibly going up to Cumbria to see him.

If you look on his facebook profile there are a bunch of Duddles, some of whom are in Leicester. Perhaps message some of them?

One of the girls is a mutual friend with one of my best mates so I'lll ask him now to send her a message.

Someone should print off all the messages on this thread, print them off and stick the nice ones into a card to take to him! I would but being in Swansea makes getting to a leicester hospital tough!
