I am trying to remain positive, but lets face it the owners are doing this so why don't we. In the event that Nige goes who do you want?

Maybe the owners will keep Pearson on for the "Long Term" plan... they certainty shown him respect up untill now and said "We are in it together"

I'm sure they will have talks at the end of the season but our Owners clearly aren't trigger happy.

I voted for O'Neill but thinking about it, OGS would be a decent shout considering half our squad used to play for United reserves.

I agree they are in for the long term but I feel if we don't make play-offs i really can't see him staying, it is highly likely that they are making inquiries. I think Nige has done more good than bad, but feel it is such a competitive league that we may need someone else to take us up a notch like Bruce has for Hull.

I don't think it is, considering the respect they have shown Pearson so far, they may been having a chat amongst themselves but they certainty won't be making any inquiries until he has been sacked.

These threads are so irritating. Pearson is our manager and may well continue to be so. Let's not worry about our next manager until we don't have one...

Can i just say i don't know what the obsession is with di matteo. No chelsea manager should have to set up a team to park the bus. He got lucky winning the UCL. Yes maybe a good cup manager but we need someone who knows the league and is a good league manager.

You do realise he won the championship title with West Brom a few years back?

So he has experience at this level and the prem which is ideal same with MON either one of them and we will do very well.

Yes but he at chelsea he showed that he isn't that great in the league. In my opinion Chris Powell although as inexperienced he has never really done badly... just my opinion tho

They we're playing Barca, if they'd tried to play them at their own game, chances are they'd have got hammered.

He's also been promoted from this league before.

DiMatteo would be a lovely choice IMO.

An advocate of slick football, keeping the ball on the floor and getting it forward to feet quickly.

He's got a very impressive CV, still young and eager to succeed and has won a Champions League in recent times.

It beggars belief and again shows how crackers some of the people on this forum are to not want a manager such as this at Leicester City.

I really do wonder where some of you are coming from.

Chris Powell?

Are you serious??

Why would you want to get rid of NP and replace him with an inferior manager???

I know he is a 'nice guy' and did a good job as a coach here, but we need someone who will win games and take us up. The fact remains this, he has done a decent job at charlton, but NP did a better one here and got us in the play-offs.

It amazes how many of you suggest getting rid of NP, and then suggest someone who has a worse record.

Probably the fact that we have already had a manager who has won multiple european titles and domestic titles in a whole range of different countries, and that appointment certainly didn't turn out well.

I wouldn't mind Di Matteo though, but he has certainly had two easy managerial jobs thus far. The baggies were in a great position when he took over, and chelsea had a squad full of quality. Never proved himself in the transfer market either, we need someone who can recruit well.

Personally I would keep NP but after him i would go for chris powell he had hardly any resources and still got them to 9th i think he's the way to go. and lets be honest if he can get something other than shit out of Kermogrant he must be good

I'd be disappointed with literally everyone on that list apart from O'Neil. Di Matteo might fit but I'm not sure he has the fire that we need. I don't really know too much about him though so I'd reserve judgement.

That's why I can't entertain ditching Pearson at the moment. Paul Ince? Mark Hughes? Roy Keane? These are the managers that the Pearson-out boys want to replace him.

They're 3 points below us having spent a fraction of what NP has.
