ozleicester Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 As we all know, LCFC will always provide the best ride when it comes to heart stopping moments, thrills and spills. But what about outside of football? Ive always been a bit of a plastic tourist tragic, i love a theme park and am a sucker fro a great ride. Heres a couple of my faves... whats yours? Genting Highlands - The spiderman ride. This was an incredible buzz, not just because of the ride, but that you are perched atop a huge mountain, the clouds roll in over it with the monsoon and you lay down and virtually fly... what a buzz Another huge buzz, was the Bungee rocket on the gold coast, your strapped in to a metal cage that is attached to the posts with huge rubber bands, they arwe wound tight and you get propelled into the air like out of a slingshot... good fun So.. what your fave... and why?
OzFox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Went to universal studios a few months back. Was just thinking it was a bit tired and dated when we did the Transformers 3D ride: Simply awesome
Hollism Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Stealth at Thorpe Park is my favourite. Gives you the biggest rush in a number of ways!
jonthefox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Dragon kahn at port aventura's pretty awesome. Also , that new 'smiler' ride at alton towers looks mad.
Vacamion Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 "The Grand National" at Blackpool. Not because it's good. Because it's very old and you think it just might just fall to bits whilst you are on it.
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom in Florida... Goes to the top and then you go backwards. Not a massive rollercoaster fan, but I was impressed by this.
Swarles Barkley Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Dragon kahn at port aventura's pretty awesome. Also , that new 'smiler' ride at alton towers looks mad. Furious baco is also pretty awesome at port aventura. Must have gone on it at least 7-8 times
MooseBreath Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 The jaws ride at universal studios. The shark looks so real. Incredible.

Going to LA in Sept.. so will definitely do these
Ross-Kemp Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Jaws isn't there anymore. That hulk ride was ****ing horrendous ! Thought I was going to die ! They've got a new one at universal, it's a 150ft vertical climb then away you go, the yanks do everything better.
Sydneyfox11 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Anyone ever been on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollecoaster? Yea truly amazing the first part is so fast and the g-force is immense!
Simmo86 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Love a good rollercoaster. Will never get bored of Nemesis at Alton Towers.
Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Anyone ever been on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollecoaster? Yes, classic. ooh I'm going to enjoy this thread. Jaws isn't there anymore. That hulk ride was ****ing horrendous ! Thought I was going to die ! They've got a new one at universal, it's a 150ft vertical climb then away you go, the yanks do everything better. This is true Was absolutely gutted when I heard they were replacing it with more Harry Potter crap.
Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Ok so I'll admit I'm pretty obsessed with Orlando and the theme parks. Only slightly more obsessed with City in fact. I've got big love for Nemesis and Oblivion at Alton Towers tbf, but it's just not quite the same. The best ride I have ever been on is the Tower Of Terror: It's just the perfect ride. The thrills, atmosphere, use of technology, attention to detail etc are all amazing. I have been on it countless times and yet it never fails to creep me out. The part just before you start dropping is fantastic. It has numerous drop sequences as well so you can't quite prepare yourself for what's going to happen.

That one is pretty crazy. I had MC Hammer on.

I thought when you go in the first room with the yellow painted box on the floor that was gonna be the free fall !

Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Dinosaur is also one of my favourites, you can't really see what's going on in this video but it's a good laugh. I always loved Jurassic Park so I suppose that is why I like it so much. Revenge of The Mummy - Universal Studios: Jurassic Park River Adventure Mustn't forget Space Mountain either, an absolute icon.
Tom17LCFC Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Anyone ever been on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollecoaster? If that's the one at Euro disney then yeah! Decent really, if I remember right it counts you down from 10 before you speed off with Aerosmith songs blasting out. What's the space one called at Euro disney? Think that's probably the best I've been on.
