Northants Fox 3 Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Saw this Ride at the St Crispin's Street Fair last year here in Northampton. They brought the fair back after an absence of a few years... This fair was an annual event till it stopped coming, the major stores complained about the noise then and even last year they were trying to claim that it would discourage people from coming to the Town Centre. The three days it was here the Town was rammed so if anything it encouraged people more so the teens and the youngsters
Parafox Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Noone meantioned the water flume at Wickstead Park yet? When I was 7 that was the dogs danglers
Babylon Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Went on Hulk at Universal, enjoyed the spiderman 3D ride they had there at the time much more though. I'd never been on a 3D ride before and it was a pretty amazing experience... and I would rarely use those words about theme park rides.
Charl91 Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Went on Hulk at Universal, enjoyed the spiderman 3D ride they had there at the time much more though. I'd never been on a 3D ride before and it was a pretty amazing experience... and I would rarely use those words about theme park rides. That's strange - I always thought most rides were 3D
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 June 2013 Posted 3 June 2013 Anyone been on The Smiler yet? Cracking ride in my opinion, best I've been on.
Ozwin Posted 3 June 2013 Posted 3 June 2013 I genuinely thought for a second I was actually going to die on Oblivion. Dat tilt.
Vlad the Fox Posted 3 June 2013 Posted 3 June 2013 The Wild Mouse is one of my faves. It makes you hang on for dear life. Old rickety and shit scary.
ozleicester Posted 4 June 2013 Author Posted 4 June 2013 No doubt ROOFOX will know it well... Not the best by any stretch...but this rattley little bastard will shake out your false teeth AND your original teeth and you will need a chiropractor for the rest of your life! and just read its apparently the Worlds Oldest ............... Ride the world's oldest continually operating roller coaster at Melbourne's Luna Park! Just as exhilarating as it was back at its opening in 1912, The Scenic Railway roller coaster continues to operate as the iconic heart of Luna Park http://www.lunapark.com.au/rides/scenic-railway#prev
jonthefox Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 This is megaphobia at Oakwood in Wales. I nearly shit myself on it.
Captain... Posted 4 June 2013 Posted 4 June 2013 I still think Air is my favourite rollercoaster, just so different and everyone on every photo is just smiling like they are having so much fun. Not your typical thrills and spills rollercoaster, but then you have Rita, Oblivion and nemesis for all that at Alton Towers, it is just cool, and always worth queuing for the front.
Danno Posted 8 June 2013 Posted 8 June 2013 Been on one in Germany where you are in pitch black and suddenly drop, you go basically around the walls of a cafe where half of your carriage is dangling off. So scary
????? Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Went to ride the smiler a Alton Towers today. It was closed. absolutely gutted
FoxesAreBlue Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 An article that my mate wrote about the Smiler... http://www.sickchirpse.com/the-smiler-delayed/ And one for the football close season... http://www.sickchirpse.com/survive-when-the-football-season-ends/
Bert Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Loved the Hulk. ShieKra at Busch Gardens hands down my favourite. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=DFZ_hve5K2s&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DDFZ_hve5K2s

Zingari Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I was going to put the same I wouldn't set foot on any of that other stuff !
Rincewind Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I don't do roller coasters. Went on them a few years back 60's 70's but some of the modern ones would not suit my constitution at my age. Some of them cannot be regarded as fun surely? They may be passed as safe and scientific tests done but to start at one height then dropped in a split second must do something to your insides. Can they guarantee that everyone going on them will not explode? It's a wonder more have not suffered death.
Russell sprout Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I would say shambahlaa at portaventura salou, largest in Europe, incredible buzz on it,it beats the dragon Kahn ride hands down
Poakey Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 Went on Hulk at Universal, enjoyed the spiderman 3D ride they had there at the time much more though. I'd never been on a 3D ride before and it was a pretty amazing experience... and I would rarely use those words about theme park rides.
