Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Noone meantioned the water flume at Wickstead Park yet?
Tom17LCFC Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 They've got a Space Mountain and a Rock 'n' Rollercoaster at both Paris and Orlando. Space mountain will be the one then! Cracking ride.
ScouseFox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Yeah all the shouts for Port Aventura are backed by me. Had a boss time there a few years back. The hurricane one or whatever it was called (the big fúck off massive one that goes so high you can nearly see England) was a lot of fun.
Webbo Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 The Spiderman ride (simulator) at Universal Studios is awesome.
Mack Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Anyone ever been on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollecoaster? Yes mate, great launch and without any huge drops it's a great coaster.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Love port aventura. Furious baco, dragon khan and hurricane condor are great, not been since shambala was made. Also love stampida (sp) old fashioned roller coaster. Hoping to go Florida next year so will be able try out loads there, looks fantastic.
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Jurassic Park River Adventure Been on that and hated it! Got to be honest, although it doesn't look that big of a drop, it did seem like it was a massive drop at the time.
Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Been on that and hated it! Got to be honest, although it doesn't look that big of a drop, it did seem like it was a massive drop at the time. Why did you hate it? Do you not like big drops? Or dinosaurs? Here's the old Jaws ride - RIP and Expedition Everest
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Yeah, not a massive fan of big drops. That Jaws one was good as well, didn't realise that had gone now.
WeAreGoingUp Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 been on a lot of rollercoasters and this is amazingly high, i was going up and i said to my mate were getting pretty high now and looked up to see we were about halfway. its crazy
jonthefox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 ooh you've got me all exited about my holiday in florida now.
Carl the Llama Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Ok so I'll admit I'm pretty obsessed with Orlando and the theme parks. Only slightly more obsessed with City in fact. I've got big love for Nemesis and Oblivion at Alton Towers tbf, but it's just not quite the same. The best ride I have ever been on is the Tower Of Terror: It's just the perfect ride. The thrills, atmosphere, use of technology, attention to detail etc are all amazing. I have been on it countless times and yet it never fails to creep me out. The part just before you start dropping is fantastic. It has numerous drop sequences as well so you can't quite prepare yourself for what's going to happen. That video does it no justice. Wholeheartedly agree that it's the best ride I've been on (except for your mum heyo!)
TheUltimateWinner Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Hands down winner. Bit of an AT fanboy me, also guy's watch out for The Smiler, going to have the most inversions in the world
Leicfox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 "The Grand National" at Blackpool. Not because it's good. Because it's very old and you think it just might just fall to bits whilst you are on it. The Wild Mouse is one of my faves. It makes you hang on for dear life.
Benji Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Kingda Ka in New Jersey, world's tallest rollercoaster and used to be the fastest I think. Never been so nervous in my life sitting waiting at the start. The same people made Stealth at thorpe park but I think it's about twice as high (Edit: to give some context, Stealth is apparently 62.5m and this 139m). Unbelievable rush but spent the whole day going on every other ride to build the courage to go on it. Goliath is bloody high as well at Magic Mountain, LA.
OzFox Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Here's the old Jaws ride - RIP What year was that? I've never seen that before. They've got a scaled down version now where you cross a lake and a big plastic shark jumps out at the tram, but if you're sitting on the left hand side you barely see anything

Unsure if I'd want to ride something that looks like a giant penis. At least it would be quick though.

Charl91 Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 No one's answered "your mum"? Alright, I'll go with Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris. My favourite by a fair margin.
