theessexfox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I'll kick it off: Positives: A lot of promising young players have performed well. Our captain and CB is an absolute monster. We have the best keeper in the division. Negatives: Today...
Charl91 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives - The way we played at the start of the season Negatives - The way we've played the last 15 games or so.
Brooksy Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Staying in the Championship. Sounds daft I know but we would have got dicked in the Premier League with this side.
Munshi Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Negatives: That shocking run we went on The way pearson manages some of the players.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: The longer season went on our set piece attacking has improved. Young players. Beating forest away We can do it. We know we can perform just not consistently. Negatives: in this crap league again. Pearsons tactics and sub making Usual loss to Watford away Kasper will probably want to go.
Yojoe36 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positive: Great first half to the season, being top of the league and all that. Negative: Fvcking shit second half to the season. 2 wins in 16? That's relegation form, and only 14 points off relegation.
kingfox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives The way we started the season Performances of Kasper and Wes Signing of Matty James Big wins over Huddersfield, Ipswich, Derby Forest game Negatives That horrible run from February Inconsistency Performances of Konchesky & Drinkwater Today - Watford play-off game
Leicestermad85 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: two thumpings of Huddersfield and Ipswich Beating forest Negatives : pearson
Guest Bilo Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: A young team that will only get better. We played some amazing stuff at times. Wes Morgan is an utter tank. Schmeichel is the best 'keeper in the division. Negatives: February, March and April. A real battle on our hands to keep Schmeichel. Today could really spark a hangover. I remain unconvinced that Pearson can find us that extra something to keep us in the top two.
Fox92 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: Winning at Hillsborough (personal). Scoring six goals twice.
trotterfox87 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: a lot of promising young players that will only get better. the players will learn a lot from today a team that seems to have gelled Negatives: being such a strong position in feb and throwing it away
cjslcfc Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives: Young side with lots of potential first half of season We have big talents in Matty James and Knocky most exciting season for a long time fore us Negatives: terrible second half of season today
AS78UK Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives Young Team with great potential Being a team that can not only beat the opposition but on there day destroy them Signing Knocky! Absolute joy to watch a real gem Performances of Kasper & Wes Partnership of James & King in Midfield Negatives Time taken to turn the stop the run of bad games in the second half of the season Lack of real pace upfront to exploit teams on the counter attack (Dyer needs someone with pace to pass too) Essentially negatives in summary are a lack of a Plan B.
MC Prussian Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives We have a young and talented side that can only get better We have the best keeper in this divison Beating F*"st away for the first time in 40+ years Reaching second spot in the league in February - with slick passing play that was a joy in the eye of the beholder Morgan and Schmeichel making the TOTS Andy King's gotten a lot better (on the defensive side) Keane was a revelation at CB Schlupp going on trial with Manchester United The fans have been outstanding and very vocal with their support this season - home and (especially) away Negatives That sloppy run of form towards the last third of the season, starting with the 2-1 loss at Peterborough. Took us right off the rails and we only recovered just in time for the playoffs. A crumbling back four, letting in 2 or more goals towards the end of the season. Only one clean sheet in how many games? Hoofball Person's substitutions in general Getting eliminated in the playoff first-round by Watford, after Knockaert misses a penalty to make it 2-2 away Lacking a leader in midfield - someone who's able to connect defense with attack, someone with a knack for the right pass at the right time. An above-average CAM. Our LBs and RBs are too prone to defensive mistakes The "Pearson Out!" brigade
maynefox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Positives:The stat about us not conceding more than 2 goals a game this season ... until now!Never giving up hope of getting into the play-offsFor a young team, we have done fairly well this yearWe have our GK and CB in team of the yearSome of our players have turned the head of PL clubs ... must be playing well for that!Beating Forest at their ground in over 40 years Thai owners sticking with Pearson when the tough got going!Excellent goal differenceNegatives:Not challenging for automatic promotion ... with the bad run we went onI've felt our defense has let us down heavily this seasonPearson's tactics on that bad runPoor ratio of youth loanees being utter dog shit£The £1 million gamble on Vardy ... although this isn't a huge negativeI honestly wouldn't class the result, today, as a negative trait. I'm sorry Nigel, but we were lucky to be in the play-offs. It's just a huge blow to us.
fox ache Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 POSITIVES - That we proved in the FIRST HALF of the season, that we can play football without having to just HOOFit upfield. NEGATIVES- Dedicating the chant of `Ben Marshall`, that everyone gets involved in, and not saying `OUR LEICESTER` (or something similar) instead.....
