Bayfox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 King won't leave. He is a Leicester lad, he has no intentions of leaving i'm sure, especially in a sideways move. Could understand a top end prem team, but the teams that have been mentioned im not worried about. How is he a leicester lad. We picked him up when he was released by chelski.
teblin Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Depends in how much we get offered for him, every player has a price.
indierich06 Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 I know for a fact that if Reading came in for him, he'd want to go.
KFS Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 I know for a fact that if Reading came in for him, he'd want to go. How comes?
indierich06 Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 How comes? Went to my best mate's stag do in Nottingham and got chatting to a fellow stag - he's mates with Kingy's sister and he lives in Reading and worked with my best mate at the Reading Post. Apparently King's very happy here, but he'd like a move to Reading to be closer to his family and that's the only club he'd be really, seriously interested in at the moment, barring any massive clubs coming in for him. So he's not looking for a move for the sake of it and if it wasn't a club closer to his family, or a massive club, he's more than happy to stay here. But if Reading come sniffing, don't be surprised if he goes.
ian the fox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 hope he leaves tbf , his shackelling of the Watford midfielders on sunday was pathetic ,they drove past him like he werent there

Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 It's a bit early for this to mean anything IMO. I can't see him going to the clubs mentioned.
Grewks Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 just like Kasper, £3 million plus, and i would rather have the money to invest in others. If we sold he, kasper and beckford and we bought in £7 million, i would take it, give it to NP and tell him to do what he wants with it. There are players like nicky bailey, trotter, baptiste, ebanks-blake, jerome thomas all on free transfers. players like zakuani who has been transfer listed, and im sure the likes of tomlin, baldock and adomah will be 'available'. Probably even sako aswell. Personally i wouldn't mind taking the money and reinvesting it in keane, baptiste, bailey, tomlin, burke, jerome thomas and baldock.
indierich06 Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Reading is nearly two whole hours away in the car. Poor lad must be so homesick. He can get down there easy enough, I just imagine he'd like to settle down there, where his family is? It's not about being homesick, just about what he wants for the future. Like I said, I'm told he's more than happy to stay here and he loves the club, but if the opportunity came to move closer to his family came up, then he'd take it.
indierich06 Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 hope he leaves tbf , his shackelling of the Watford midfielders on sunday was pathetic ,they drove past him like he werent there Behave yourself, he was by far our best player in both legs.

ian the fox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Behave yourself, he was by far our best player in both legs. rubbish , he does nothing defensively whatsoever , re-watch the game & watch king standing around doing nothing ffs
Kierzz Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 rubbish , he does nothing defensively whatsoever , re-watch the game & watch king standing around doing nothing ffs If you are being serious, you are such an idiot and really no nothing about football. Rewatch him for 90 minutes and then you will see how influential he is for our team
ian the fox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 ive been watching him chase shadows all season kid , the midfeld is the reason we didnt get promoted automatic
Kierzz Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 ive been watching him chase shadows all season kid , the midfeld is the reason we didnt get promoted automatic he would of got man of the match if knockaert scored that pen and did awesome in the 1st leg. He does so much defensively that goes unoticed. How about the challenge from behind on their forward who was through to stop a goal at a key point in the match. How about the 17 goals he scored from open play one season. None were free kicks or pens like all over goalscoring midfielders. Read a book or something on how football works or watch another sport. You clearly know nothing.
buzzy Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 get a grip do you really think this story is true because it's go shite written all over it
breadandcheese Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 rubbish , he does nothing defensively whatsoever , re-watch the game & watch king standing around doing nothing ffsThis is a joke, right? King was head and shoulders our best player yesterday. He didn't deserve to be on the losing team.
Bayfox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 ive been watching him chase shadows all season kid , the midfeld is the reason we didnt get promoted automatic Make your mind up either he does nothing or he chases!!! Even if it is shadows. For the record he was by far our best player on the pitch yesterday.
AdamN Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 The people who criticise King's defensive work know fuck all about defending. Just because he's not Lee Cattermoleing his way around the pitch, it doesn't mean he's 'going missing' or not putting in a shift. A good defender will get decent tackles in when they're needed. A great defender will make sure they don't need to make the tackle in the first place.
shiv Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Definitely my favourite current City player. Always puts a shift in, even though he's been much more defensive than last season (he hasn't really had a choice to be fair with 4-4-2) he's still been one of our stand out performers. Him and James look class together. Mate of mine is a Watford fan and he came over yesterday and said he thought King was the best player on the pitch.
ian the fox Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 hes that good , hes obviously available for fransfer away from the club , hence hes being chased by a host of crap clubs
