Callabinho Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Be sensible people, do you really think this will happen?
whitlock Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 We got Morgan from Forest? I bet Forest fans didn't think that Wes would move, especially to us. Although, Forest aren't our rivals so it shouldn't matter from their prospective. Although, Kingy seems like an intelligent lad and NP rates him massively. Cant see it myself. Hope not.
Harry - LCFC Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Ugh, can people stop bringing up Morgan? That was very much a forward move at the time whereas this clearly would not be! There's a difference!
Happy Fox Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 He is under contract unless F****t have £4m+ spare he won't be going there my worry is a prem club bidding for him and I think he would go if that opportunity arose.
LCFC FOX Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is more loyal that Wes though, Wes would go to bloody Derby if we accepted
Danizen Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King won't leave, just like Wes wouldn't leave them?Completely different circumstances. Morgan told Forest he wanted to leave and refused to sign a new contract. That was before we were interested.
Kitchandro Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King won't leave, just like Wes wouldn't leave them? No nothing like that, it's more like he wouldn't leave because there's no benefit for him in doing so. He gets in the team here, the manager likes him, the fans like him (generally) we finished higher than them in the league for the past two seasons, he is paid well, etc. Morgan wasn't really playing in a side who were quite a way below us in the league.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Anyone who's even mildly interested in King leaving the club wants their heads checking as far as I'm concerned. King has innate, uncoachable talent - i.e something that a championship side can rarely buy. Even if we got a decent offer, what would be the point?

Manwell Pablo Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 It's really not that unfeasible if they intend to pay him an extra 3 or 4 grand a week and have a decent offer lined up. I think a lot of you seem to fail to grasp the greed of your average pro footballer.
Harry - LCFC Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 pity he never displayed it last season Yep, shit all season. Just like 80% of the squad that we need to chuck out. Fvcking hell we are awful aren't we, might as well not bother next season, promotion is basically impossible. Let me give you a bit of advice, don't buy a ticket next season. You clearly won't enjoy watching a team as disastrously terrible as ours.
CKB Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Silly if we sell him And even more silly if we sold him to Forest!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is detrimental for our chances of promotion next year. Do not accept any offer.
Guest Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is detrimental for our chances of promotion next year. Do not accept any offer. I think you need to look up detrimental.
jonthefox Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is detrimental for our chances of promotion next year. Do not accept any offer. Yep.
Dylan Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Why would he go Forest, surely a backwards move?! And he's contracted here till 2015 isn't he, so it'd take a very good offer. Could understand him wanting to go a Prem club (not that I'd want him to go!) His performance against Watford in the 2nd leg was amazing, one of the best I've seen of him in a City shirt, absolutely outstanding. More of that next season, and him and James could be brilliant in that midfield together. Plus, his goalscoring record for a midfielder is phenomenal.
Kitchandro Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is detrimental for our chances of promotion next year. Do not accept any offer.
Wymsey Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 King is detrimental VALUABLE for our chances of promotion next year. Do not accept any offer. Fixed.
Corky Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 He would have the chance to play at the world famous City Ground, in the famous red, and that is every young boy's dream remember.
