Kitchandro Posted 30 May 2013 Posted 30 May 2013 Poor old Huddersfield... And Watford. Expelled from the league for breaking transfer rules I'm guessing. I think Barnsley would do well to just field the one team so they don't spread their squad too thinly.

Yeah but technically they've got twice the opportunity to rack up points so if each version can avoid relegation they could be in the automatics!

Happy Fox Posted 30 May 2013 Posted 30 May 2013 Why are people putting QPR as automatic promotion contenders, they need to revamp their whole team.
Strokes Posted 30 May 2013 Posted 30 May 2013 QPR need to rebuild their team, but if they get rid of the right players they can run away with the league. Most of their team are to good for the championship. And seriously does anyone doubt Harry.Plenty seem to think o'neill is finished after one poor season but harry has took 2 teams down and nobody questions him.

Guest Col city fan Posted 30 May 2013 Posted 30 May 2013 Plenty seem to think o'neill is finished after one poor season but harry has took 2 teams down and nobody questions him. Redknapp is one of those anomalies.. He appears untouchable. Personally I think he's a very average manager. His record with QPR was actually worse I think than Hughes. All the Arry love.... Seems a good bloke, but it's a bit bewildering.
LeicesterLuke91 Posted 30 May 2013 Posted 30 May 2013 I hope we get off to a good start for a change and maintain a decent run of form. Forest will be a threat under the guidance of Davies (hurt to say that) Leeds under McDermott will be organised and pose a real challenge for promotion. I think the usual suspects will be there too such as Brighton, Bolton & possibly Blackburn. My dark horse for this year will be Ipswich. McCarthy turned things around for the tractor boys in the last few months of the season and I think with a pre-season of good training and signings, they could shock a few teams in the division.

The key of course, to Ipswich having a successful season will be retaining Jay Emmanuel Thomas. Unless they offload him! And then I'm hoping Mr.Pearson will be waiting in the wings.

Fox92 Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Ipswich??! Fancied Wigan but then I thought well they haven't got a manager yet. Just thought McCarthy knows what he's doing at this level, turned them around really earlier in the season, and with one or two additions they could be the team.
Swiss_tony Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 i'm thinking of having a crafty bet on the tractor boys to make the top six. i think reading will be certs for auto.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Fancy Reading to storm it, other 5 I fancy and could be in any order are City, Bolton, Birmingham,Forest,Charlton.
