Unabomber Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I was being serious when I said things will get better, little did I know they would soon get worse with the intervention of Corky.
HEGGSY Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I was being serious when I said things will get better, little did I know they would soon get worse with the intervention of Corky. Lies. Feeding me false hope.

Danizen Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Call me crazy but I think it's all set up for the scousers to nick the title on the last day. Rodgers wouldn't publicly conceede the title if he genuinely believed it was over. He's trying to ramp up the pressure on Man City and hoping (not unreasonably) that they have one dodgy result. It would top 2012, that's for sure.

Last day of the season, Liverpool need West Ham to beat Man City to win the League title, West Ham have two former Liverpool players, Liverpool would really like them to produce their 'quality' and they are..

Grandad. Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 There's always next season Haha, we don't deserve to win the league with some of our defending this season but we certainly don't deserve to win the league if we are relying on them pair to bail us out. Don't get me wrong, if Downing wants to score a 25 yard goal and then set up Carroll for a last minute winner then I would be eternally grateful..

Difference is this time if they go 1-0 up they are under no pressure whatsoever. Other problem is after the chaos of that QPR game a couple of years back it will still be fresh in the players mind that they can't afford any complacency whatsoever.

ScouseFox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 yeah now the madness of last night has died down and i've thought about it that was a big 2 points dropped. if it had gone down to the last day on level points, like matt says, liverpool get an early goal or two and city is 0-0 at half time. crowd at the etihad are uptight, atmosphere descends down to the pitch and everyone is shitting themselves etc. could maybe force a few misplaced passing, trying a bit too hard for a breakthrough and end at a very frustrating 0-0. now even if that happens they'd win the league with a 0-0.

Unless the mighty Aston Villa can do the unexpected tomorrow evening and take a point away from Manchester.
ScouseFox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Unless the mighty Aston Villa can do the unexpected tomorrow evening and take a point away from Manchester. haha still hoping then mate! it was unlikely after chelsea, even more unlikely after city beat everton and eeeeven more unlikely after that capitulation last night. but still possible :knock:

Beating City, who got sent off in the 90th minute of that game? Yeah you know him, Hendo! We were lucky to leave Carrow Road with 3 points, lost to Chelsea and completely f****d it v Palace. No coincidence we have been a poorer side without 'Horrenderson', Gerrard needs Hendo in there with him, Lucas just doesn't have the same energy. A stat did the rounds on Twitter earlier on, Liverpools win percentage without Henderson in the team is 20% and with him in the side it goes up to 70% with him in the side, you can't argue or even try to argue them stats. Such a vital player to the current way we play.

You may not even need them to get anything if Villa can grab a result, and they do like to produce the odd shock result and have beaten City this season already! Maybe Delph will even justify the section of England fans asking for him to get called up.

MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Dear Fulham FC: Could it be that you have been relegated because your team has played worse than almost everybody else in the Premier League this season? Blaming it on a statue is a bit... far-fetched, one might say. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27298374

Blaming it on a statue is a bit... far-fetched, one might say. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27298374 Well to be fair, that's just Al-Fayad coming out with that. It's funny because there are lots of things he could criticise the new owners for, mainly the chopping and changing of managers, but no, he goes with the statue!
One Legged Beaver Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 " 'You will pay with blood for that' because it was something loved by people. " What he failed to mention is that those people weren't associated with Fulham.
Eddie Big Balls Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 excited to see how our two loan signings will be getting on tonight You can only loan one player from another Premiership team We would absolutely muller this Manchester United side. Why not, every other ****er already has at Old Trafford this season Yeah, like Federico Macheda. I don't think Wilson will be like Macheda. Having said that, I do feel that Macheda has been let down by our underage systems - he was too good for reserve football at 19 and he's had 4 seasons there to stagnate. He went on loan to several foreign clubs, none of whom played him and he's just not improved all round since he was 18. Make no mistake though, he's still a talented lad and he still has the cojones for big moments that Man Utd could do with more of right now, in all honesty. Though having said that, I think his ship has sailed by now.
LeicesterBran Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Garry Monk has been appointed as the Swansea manager on a pernament basis. It's good to see English managers given a chance in the top flight and he seems like a nice bloke and has got the Swans continuing attacking football http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27313672
