One Legged Beaver Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Garry Monk has been appointed as the Swansea manager on a pernament basis. It's good to see English managers given a chance in the top flight and he seems like a nice bloke and has got the Swans continuing attacking football http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27313672 I'd probably have them down to get relegated next season with him as manager. I've got nothing against him he's just had a pretty poor record since he took over.
bovril Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Norwich could be all but relegated tonight. Sacking Hughton when they did and replacing him with Neil Adams seems suicidal now.
wakeyfox01 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Norwich could be all but relegated tonight. Sacking Hughton when they did and replacing him with Neil Adams seems suicidal now. Think they'd be in the same position anyway. Have looked doomed for a while
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Norwich could be all but relegated tonight. Sacking Hughton when they did and replacing him with Neil Adams seems suicidal now. It made no sense back then. It makes even less now. Or so it seems.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 With the run in Norwich had combined with Sunderlands incredible run a combination of Klopp, Simeone and Guardiola wouldn't have kept them up. To be fair with the 0-0 at Chelsea they got one more point than I thought they would from the last four.
Matt Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Wow I know there were jokes about Chelsea parking the bus the other week but i'm not sure i've ever seen a team play as defensive as this, this is the epitome of parking the bus. Credit where credit is due they're doing it well, very well and when they have managed a counter or gone forward they havn't looked too bad but wow I honestly don't think i've ever seen a team defend like this before. Won't be long before Man City get through though I don't think and once they get the one they score more.
lcfcsnow Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Are sky seriously referring to man city fans as 'long suffering'?
Leicesterpool Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Looks like Norwich will be preparing for the east anglian derby!
AKCJ Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Did you all hear that? The collective noise of hopes and dreams shattering in Liverpool.

Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Some of the Liverpool fans will be loving it. A chance to spend a weekend wallowing in self pity.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Every time City score a wall probably gets kicked over by a curly haired layabout
yorkie1999 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Did you all hear that? The collective noise of hopes and dreams shattering in Liverpool. Just seen a bloke on the train to liverpool with a a box of 40000 candles.
Unabomber Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Lmao Toure that was like a dad taking over a kids game.
MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 What a solo effort and goal from Touré to round off an almost complete Manchester City performance in the last 25 minutes. Fair play to Villa, the plan with a 5-4-1 almost worked.
Finnegan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Lmao Toure that was like a dad taking over a kids game. :nuge:
Fox in the North Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Congratulations Sunderland! Not long ago you were dead and buried.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Congratulations Sunderland! Not long ago you were dead and buried. Amazing turnaround! A few weeks back they were 1/9 on for relegation. Hats off to Poyet and bringing back Wickham was a master-stroke. Toure is so, so good. Best in the world at what he does?
MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Toure is so, so good. 20 (!) goals for a central midfielder is not just good, that is outstanding.
Dan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Toure is brilliant. I don't get why he doesn't turn up in Europe because he's the best midfielder in the Premier League. So after all of these twists and turns and a seriously tight table at both ends, it now looks like we'll enter the final day with everything pretty much sorted.... or is there going to be another twist?
Corky Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Dzeko's the sort of player we'd have so many threads on here moaning about his game- "all he does is score goals" etc.
