Dan Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 That's got to be about it. There's been so many twists but I can't see Man City not winning it now. A win and a draw, which is poorer than they should be doing, would win them the league. They need shooting if they don't win it from here.
One Legged Beaver Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 i take your point there but still stand by they spent a bloody ton and so far have only won 1 league title by GD and not made a huge impression in europe. Back in the days where they came back into the prem i did route for them but how many moons ago was that now? it may be also because now every fair weather united fan is jumping on their bandwagon now hoping they win it instead of liverpool. The everton/city game on saturday was a joke. liverpool cheering on everton and united cheering on city?! i'm all up for friendly football rivalry but i would never cheer on a fierce rival just to spite another rival. i would be hoping for the drabbest 0-0 draw ever played. About a blue moon ago.
Dan Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I always hope Derby beat Forest. I used to but I tell you what I've gone right off their fans. Annoying as hell. That said Forest are insufferable at the best of times so I'd about agree. Awful 0-0's are the way forward for those two.
MC Prussian Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Even using my name on here to speak about me? Obsessed. Says the Liverpool fan with two accounts on a Leicester City messageboard who trawls back through threads to quote me. It's not like others haven't used your name numerous times before me, eh? You're really funny, Lofty. Only the "obsessed" part is getting a bit tedious. You know what they say about guys becoming too repetitive...
Finnegan Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 If Tony Pulis is never Wales gaffer I'll cry my eyes out.
kingcarr21 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 could quite easily see Villa or West Ham get a win against City. this title race is certainly not over yet. Would be funny if Andy Carroll on the final day of the season scores the winner against City and Liverpool win the title

Grandad. Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 i had no idea you supported Liverpool Haha! Mate, it's all people have to say about me on here, I've been posting on FoxesTalk since 2008 and people are still moaning about me on here for being a Liverpool fan. 6 years of being on here!
Grandad. Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Surprised there hasn't been any mention regarding Man City being fined a massive £50 million for breaching FFP and are now only allowed to use 21 players in the Champions League next season.
Super_horns Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 The 50 million is probably peanuts though and how many are you usually allowed? 25 is it.

The 50 million is probably peanuts though and how many are you usually allowed? 25 is it. Yep usually 25. But the Opta guys noted that they've only used 21 in their previous 2 CL campaigns anyway lol.
shen Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 They can still reach a 'settlement' with UEFA, whatever that means, which means they've not been fined £50mil yet ...
Guest MattP Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Absolutely guarantee City and PSG will get off with pissweak punishments in the end. The fact they completely ignored the rules in the first place says how much respect they have for them. And what does it say about the power of UEFA that they have to enter into negotiations about a punished they have given out? Incredible.
Dan Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 If they had anything about them they'd ban both from European competition until they're both compliant. Seeing as UEFA don't have anything about them and they rely on those clubs more than those clubs rely on UEFA, I expect them to get next to nothing. Embarrassment of an organisation.
HEGGSY Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Man Utd Starting with Tom Lawrence and James Wilson, two U21 players up front tonight against Hull. Let's see how this one pans out.
