Corky Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Man Utd obviously been watching Wigan's video at how not to mark at corners.
Jimothy Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Considering Valencia has been deployed at right back on numerous occasions, he's been shit cover for Smalling today.
Fox92 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 UTD look so bad, their side doesn't look as strong as City's or even Arsenal's. And I don't understand Fellaini, he's playing deep yet looked so effective behind the striker for Everton. Having said that, he don't look like a UTD player. Both goals were weak to concede though.
ScouseFox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 United look absolutely woeful (again). I've gotta admit I scoffed a bit at those who thought they'd finish outside the top 2 but they'll be fighting to stay in the top 4 at this rate. How has Moyes taken a squad that won the league without even trying, lost nobody, added Fellaini and turned them into this load of clueless melts?!

What's more remarkable is that he went to the Etihad virtually every year with Everton and they played out of their skins, yet today with a team on a different level of quality they look awful.
Fox92 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 United wouldn't look out of place in the Championship
Finnegan Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 United wouldn't look out of place in the Championship Behave.
Fox92 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Behave. I was joking with that, but serious, they don't look to good.
ScouseFox Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Behave. Yeah the Championship is leagues above United atm.
Strokes Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Tbf man citys counter attacks are frighteningly quick, could be a cricket score by full time. United have to change something just to stop the rot.
Danno Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Moyes showing the average manager he is. Never United standard and never will be
Guesty Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 I wonder if they'll give Moyes time. I don't think this squad can move on without Fergie - it needs a proper overhaul; which should have started in the summer. Shows how much psychology plays a part in top-end professional sports - the players clearly don't believe in Moyes and they should take a large part of the blame for this. But why he's not shown any faith in Kagawa and played Young constantly is baffling too. I think this also proves Rooney isn't world class anymore (if he ever was), they look toothless without RVP. And a world class player would grab this game by the scruff of the neck. I'm not saying he'd change the result because the whole team is poor atm but a world class player would at least be heading the charge.
Jimothy Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 People seem to be forgetting that Fergie lost this same fixture 6-1 two years ago. Sure Man Utd have been awful, but it's not like they were never awful against top teams under Fergie.

United have started the season poorly, Moyes doesn't have a record of winning doesn't bold well for the future. I hate United and I'm so glad to see them get stuffed.

Yeah but when Fergie lost that fixture he could point back to what, 2 Champions Leagues about 15 titles and God knows whatever else. Moyes has managed them for 4 months, missed out on every transfer target until he paid more than he needed to for Fellaini, has yet to put in a good performance and yet to pick a team that looks anything other than laboured and confused.
