Guest Posted 22 June 2013 Posted 22 June 2013 Yet you want Beckford back. Would you describe his performances as anything other than mediocre? Don't engage the fvckwit in discussions you'll only a) confuse him and b) encourage him to keep posting bollocks
seenitall Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Don't engage the fvckwit in discussions you'll only a) confuse him and b) encourage him to keep posting bollocks Unlike the genius self satisfied, smug invariably wrong but enormously up his own arse Emilio - a 'fan' we could all do without
flowwolf Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Unlike the genius self satisfied, smug invariably wrong but enormously up his own arse Emilio - a 'fan' we could all do without :D How do you feel Emilio he's just had your pants down.
indierich06 Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 :D How do you feel Emilio he's just had your pants down. Has he? Just read like typical Seenitall bollocks to me. Ironically, you could easily sub in the name Seenitall into that shite he's just written and it'd probably be more appropriate.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Will Beckford ever put any effort in as a Leicester City player? If not get rid
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Beckford had an injury free season at an average Championship side last year and did an average job. In the same team David Nugent out scored him. In an equally average Millwall side, in half a season, Chris Wood out scored him. We shouldn't be playing him ahead of either and if we're not going to start a 29/30 year old striker who is probably our highest earner, then we should be selling him. Surely any sane person can see that? Ye What? Try Again. And as for Huddersfield being averae.....they could of gone down on the last day!
Aus Fox Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Ye What? Try Again. And as for Huddersfield being averae.....they could of gone down on the last day! Huddersfield were second when Beckford went there. Just saying!

Lovely Rich.....talking of people up their own arse.......... bollocks = anything that doesn't praise every Nige decision or anything that suggests that the past 18 months have been anything other than mediocre

seenitall Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Looks like he's gone anyway so discussion over - until he bangs in a hat trick against us!!!
Bert Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Huddersfield were second when Beckford went there. Just saying! We were second when Chris Wood came here. Just Saying!
Guest ttfn Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 We were second when Chris Wood came here. Just Saying! And finished sixth. Huddersfield stayed up by the skin of their teeth.
Leicester_Numan Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 We were second when Chris Wood came here. Just Saying! They only just escaped relegation and we finished in the play offs. Also, Wood wasn't described as lazy by his manager. That's 4 managers in a row now that Beckford has been a problem for. 5 if you count Moyes, he obviously couldn't wait to get rid
nickyboy Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 So according to the mercury today we have agreed a price with Bolton for him FINALLY we can stop crap threads like this and wave goodbye to a player who never played with any heart or conviction for us Goodbye beckford, goodbye

Bit too clever for you too it seems. :D ( then again that's not hard to do )
Mark_w Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Ye What? Try Again. And as for Huddersfield being averae.....they could of gone down on the last day! Even though he missed around 6 weeks through injury? I was talking about his season at Leicester (hence the 'in the same team Nugent outscored him' line), obviously wasn't worded very well.

And how do you know Beckford has been a problem to any other manager than clown boots Pearson ? pure supposition on your part.

That's 4 managers in a row now that Beckford has been a problem for. 5 if you count Moyes, he obviously couldn't wait to get ridI really really think some people have a problem with taking this place too seriously like it's life and death. Majority of us know that Wood is the better option than Beckford but some people's vendetta against him is outrageous. The first SEASON he signed he scored 15 goals, the cup is part of the seasonal campaign. I don't care how many people say only 9 were in the league, that's just a very easy way to make him look poor as well as a very weak argument. That didn't matter for Wood against Burton or Huddersfield this season. The main issue with Beckford is wages. How many people know the man himself to know exactly what he's like? Ok he's lazy at times and that's not what we want at all, but he scored some vital goals for us In that one full(ish) season. Personally, it's a shame it never worked out for him properly here - and it's for the best interest of our club that he moves on.
Mark_w Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I really really think some people have a problem with taking this place too seriously like it's life and death. All he did was debate whether or not Beckford is good enough for the football club, which is exactly what you're doing. Don't you think trying to discredit someone by saying they take the place too seriously, when you're doing exactly the same thing as them, is a bit of a lazy way of arguing? And dare I say it, a tad hypocritical.

My comment about us being 2nd when wood joined was clearly tongue in cheek and look at the two responses it got. (Would've quoted both if I wasn't on FT Mobile) Oh yeah, told you Beckford would have a better season than Waghorn and/or Vardy....
indierich06 Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Bit too clever for you too it seems. :D ( then again that's not hard to do ) Err no, not really. God, it's like a chimp's tea party trying to have a discussion with you two. I'll let you get back to flinging your faeces around.

Captain... Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 We may have agreed a fee, but personal terms with Beckford and Bolton and Beckford and us, probably looking for a Matt Mills style pay-off, still need to be agreed. Hopefully this saga will be over very soon, but I feel their could well be another 10 pages or so before he signs. Whatever your opinion on how good he is I think we will all be glad when this is resolved.
Leicester_Numan Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 If wood was not described as lazy by the manager then he bloody well should have been, he's just another duffer Pearson signed. And how do you know Beckford has been a problem to any other manager than clown boots Pearson ? pure supposition on your part.Do you not remember me posting the Robins saying he was lazy article? Pearson obviously had a problem with him which is why he was dropped (too late in my opinion). Sven got nothing out of him although he was injured for some of it. And he did nothing for Grayson second time round and then got injured. So, Beckford has been a problem for 4 managers. Note that I said he's been a problem for 4 managers and not that they had a problem with him which could mean the same thing but doesn't.
harpendenfox Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 If we pay people off now, however galling that seems, does that not benefit us when FFP comes into effect? ie we take the hit in the current financial year?
