Bert Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Dear me, Australia really can't bat for shit.England are just decent at bowling.
Brainy Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Surely umpire's call is just the ICC's way of saying "we trust out technology no more than 95%"?
Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 England are just decent at bowling. More than decent, anything other than a completely flat deck and teams very rarely get more than 280-300 against us.
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Hope we can get rid of rogers quickly, he looks classy.
marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Hope we can get rid of rogers quickly, he looks classy. Really?! He's nearly chopped on a few times and has been lucky to not get an edge on a good few balls.
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Looks like I was right again. Nice to hear a good atmosphere though, been really quiet for the first 3.
marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Looks like I was right again. Nice to hear a good atmosphere though, been really quiet for the first 3. No offence, but Rogers hasn't looked classy. He's gritted it out but he's had an enormous amount of good fortune and could have easily been out 7 or 8 times.

marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Like root then. No, not at all. Root gave one chance. Rodgers has been dropped, very nearly played on four times at least, played and missed at lots of deliveries. He should definitely buy a lottery ticket tonight.
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Nearly aint out though, as I was told earlier.
marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Nearly aint out though, as I was told earlier. Of course, but Rodgers has had far more good fortune than Root.
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Of course, but Rodgers has had far more good fortune than Root. Nah.
marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Nah. How can I possibly argue with such a well informed, logical and succinct point?!
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 You're right he has missed some deliveries, so he's luckier than root.
marko Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 You're right he has missed some deliveries, so he's luckier than root. Magic. On a serious note, do you honestly not believe Rodgers has had a lot of good fortune in his innings?
purpleronnie Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 100 up for rogers, no prancing about....classy!
Ross-Kemp Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Haddin and Rogers both gone this morning. 5 behind with a new ball available in 3 balls.
marko Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 How is Tony Hill on the elite panel?! The only thing that was missing was off and leg stump. If you can't get an lbw decision like that right you shouldn't even be on a village green.
Aus Fox Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Lead of 32, lets knock it down without loss and start again all square at lunch
marko Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 He was bad, I still think Darryl Hair is the worst I've seen, anyone remember Steve Bucknor? His automatic reaction was too shake his head when an appeal came, I swear it used to wake him up. I swear he was starting to go a bit senile in his last year or so of umpiring on the elite panel. Do you remember the Australia vs India Test in 2008? He actually made Tony Hill look competent in that Test.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 11 August 2013 Posted 11 August 2013 Aleem Dar is umpiring with 4 stumps and Tony Hill can't spot the most obvious LBW of all time. Shambolic stuff.
