Nick Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 I reckon we're gonna need 300 to even think about declaring. Anybody consider doing it before... 280 maybe?
Corky Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Ian Bell just quietly goes about his business, fantastic series which has saved us on a few occasions.
Brainy Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Id be surprised if England are ever in a position to declare
leicsmac Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Properly entertaining counterattack this. Bres and Swanny going for it after Harris got rid of Bell and Broad with superb balls. Prior should perhaps have kept the one out that bowled him, though.
Swarles Barkley Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Well played bresnan. Could turn out to be a match winning innings
leicsmac Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 299 the target, if we don't defend that on this pitch we won't deserve the win.
Guest MattP Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Should be in a good position by end of day. Big target.
Corky Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 How much luck does Rogers have? Always seems to be beaten several times past the edge, or a pad to keeper, or lbw pitching just outside, or a low drop.
ScouseFox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Could do with a wicket sharpish. Once one falls two or three could follow easy. Especially if we get Swann involved.
Finnegan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Well getting Swann involved worked, , smash. Bout time Warner showed up really. Bell flat out man of the series so far though surely.
Finnegan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Also, my West Indian cricketer name ((BBC live feed) is awful! Reagan Skegness! (President at year of birth + last British seaside resort visited!)

Also, my West Indian cricketer name ((BBC live feed) is awful! Reagan Skegness! (President at year of birth + last British seaside resort visited!) Barkley Brixham
Finnegan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Barkley Brixham That's much better. Could easily be some six foot four seamer!
davieG Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Who is Barkley?!! Oops he was a vice president, should be Truman Brixham, shame I preferred Barkley.
Mack Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 It's these sort of situations I was trying to point out Cook is found lacking in the other day. They are 1 down for 120 chasing 299 and we seem to have nothing beyond Flower's pre innings plans to go to, Cook just has nothing unorthodox or inventive to offer. Flower is even sending messages on to Cook via the 12th man at drinks.
Swarles Barkley Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Its not looking good. Anderson has been bowling well below his ability
Guest Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Carter Whitby. Sounds more like a fiction writer than a cricketer to be honest
Guest MattP Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Good call to go with Bresnan there. Could be tight this. Clarke wicket huge.
