Dan Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Beat a shit Parma with 9 men. Lose to a shit Parma with 11. Stats have never meant as little as they do on this game. I'd go as far as saying they're 100% meaningless. Parking the bus often works and I'm still yet to lose to a big side. I'm 32 games in and only Chievo, Sampdoria & Parma have beaten us.

In one of my games I was able to draw away at Man City, beat Chelsea and Arsenal at home. But then lose to the mighty Reading and Peterborough who had already been relegated .
Beliall Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 its getting ridiculous. i dont think im ever going to win one trophy let alone 5. unles si can find a tactic or exploit. ive won it all on the psp version . so easy just buy good players and win every week its not just the fact that you can have heavy defeats, it that you cant do anything to stop it from unfolding right in front of you, going 2 down and getting overrun, adding an extra midfielder and going one up does nothing. its infruiating

Buzzell Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 One thing that really pisses me off in this game... I'm against Liverpool, I'm absolutely dominating the game and I take a 2-0 lead into the break. Second half kicks off, still overall dominating but concede, 2-1. Game gets a bit boring after that with no decent highlights until the 90th minute when I concede 2 goals right at the death of the match. 3-2 to Liverpool. Bullshit.

I always aggressively say I expect a win, half time I aggressively say not good enough unless average rating is 7+ (any player that goes red after this individually aggressively say unhappy and they will become fired up) then full time if won I calmly say well done if not aggressively say not happy.

On the left hand side you'll see 'Add'. Click that and go all the way down to 'Transfer Status'. You can choose both criteria or either criteria. On the right hand panel you can narrow it down even further - the search for 'filter out unrealistic targets' is always ticked automatically. Why do my sides always bottle it? If for example you're Yeovil at home and you're playing Barcelona, saying 'I expect a win' will confuse the hell out of your team (I know you're not that stupid). But if you're Chelsea away playing against Man City away, sometimes a passionate 'let's do this for the fans' works. At HT if you're losing (regardless of opposition) an aggressive telling off saying you expect much better has worked wonders for me on more than one occasion.

When I made it into the Europa League I actually won it first time round with ease, and the next season still breezed through the group stage and lost in the semi's but my domestic form was absolutely terrible. I'm now in the Champions League and I've absolutely bossed the group stage. Beat Barcelona in the group stage twice, won 5-1 at the Nou Camp but when it came to my league form I would be up against Cardiff and lose
Beliall Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 My opinion of what the team is capable of is different to the press. This causes problems in team talks. I dont accept losing to the bottom club because the pre game prediction twat says im not favourite im 4th and theyre bottom. We should win.

Yeah if they go on to lose a match like that they get slaughtered by me. Anyone under a rating of 6.1, 6.0 gets individually criticised.
Beliall Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 I have been known to upgrade my staff each season, when contracts run out I replace them with better. do you think if I had more stabilty and kept staff longer then I would do better in my league? Also have a lot of african staff from my time there, im in china would I be better off employing natives?

My problem isn't winning the tougher games, it's not choking against the easier sides when we have a lot to play for. I'll take what you pair have said on board though, cheers. I'm two wins away from coming 3rd in the Serie A in my first year at Udinese.
