Yeovil to stay up? No disrespect to any Yeovil fans but cant see them staying up. Be suprised if they do. Cant see Watford winning the league either, Wigan look like theyre building a squad capable, but they have the distraction of Europe. Agree with the rest though
Happy Fox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Anyone predicting QPR as playoff material/automatic is daft they will struggle big time imo. Top 6 Bolton Leicester City F****t Ipswich Reading Birmingham City Bottom 3 Burnley Yeovil Barnsley
mkaiser1 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Unfortunately I think NFFC will be in the top 6 and you absolutely cannot underestimate Charlton this season. I think most clubs' fans will thinking "if we finish in the top 10 this season I'll have no cause for complaint" and I'd be surprised if the majority of City fans are any different. I think that what Watford have been able to do with their 'sister' clubs is ludicrous and I think FIFA should be limiting owners to one club internationally since this is an international sport. That said, they've broken no rules. Personally, I'm optimistic about City this year. I think the youngsters that were brought in last year played well and will have an extra year's experience and footballing maturity. I think we have a little bit of cover and competition for each position even if the competition isn't necessarily as strong as some fans would like. We could play a few different formations. We have pace on either side of the pitch. We have creativity if King and Marshall and Knockaert play to their best. I think now is the time for us to get behind our club and really be the 12th man. As fans we've upped our game on a 'Saturday afternoon' (most of which were weekdays), and it's made a real difference, but let's not stop now, let's keep pushing our team and singing throughout the whole game! C'MON CITY!!!

Top 6 Bolton Leicester City F****t Ipswich Reading Birmingham City Bottom 3 Burnley Yeovil Barnsley I said that 3 months ago but that was on the assumption they would lose loads of players, Any squad with Julio Cesar, Park, Remy, Taaraat, SWP, Jenas, Barton, Onuaha, Hoilett, Mbia etc should be more than capable of a crack at the top 6 mimimum.

Too many dressing room egos no doubt the players are supposedly good but they lack team togetherness and haven't got the fight to do well in the championship they won't know what has hit them.

They have slowly built a squad under clough and have steadily improved each season. Between them and Charlton for me for 6th.

He's been there 4 years and for the average owners, he's not done a lot. I'm not saying he's a bad manager, but I wouldn't blame any stakeholder of Derby for getting impatient of not being close to promotion.

Babylon Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Really not getting the Forest love in, they are going to need a new striker if they want to challenge.

Burmesefox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 I've been mulling our final position for a while now. Given the squad that we have and assuming no more major transfers/loans between now and the close of the window I expect us to finish at best 6th and at worse 10th. I suspect we will be around 7/8th.

Babylon Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 More of a Forest hate in. I didn't like putting them there, it's just where I think they'll finish They finished the season in worse form than us, half of their signings are unknown quantities with a couple of decent purchase chucked in. They also lost a few who were on loan like Sharpe, who would score a damn site more than Cox or Mackie.

If they keep those players I don't think the Championship will know what's hit it, to be honest. But I doubt they will all still be there come August 31st, glad we aren't playing them early doors.
