Callabinho Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 I must admit a brick is forming in my bowels...I can remember back to the palace game under Sousa, feeling so optimistic just see it all crushed, horrible day out that one! we will just have to wait and see.
Fox42 Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Even Barnsley fans are optimistic at this stage of the season so I can't understand any of our fans being negative.Well they have more to cheer about than us, don't they

Kitchandro Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 You sad bastard. Actually I'm worse, I must be dreading the new season because a week or so ago I dreamt about the Watford second leg. It was still horrific. Then last night I dreamt I was watching us in the play-off final against Ipswich and we lost on penalties. We were the better team in the 120 as well I think. Not being able to take any more gut-wrenching heartbreak, I lost it and said 'FVCK OFF!!!!' at the top of my voice as I woke up. My mum came in and was like what the hell is wrong with you?

Good vivid dreams!!! My dream last night was that ...... no maybe not.
Babylon Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Are they getting rubbish attendances then?? They averaged 16794 last year... But remember this year they have a no money to spend and dour manager in charge who presided over a run of form and fall from grace worse than almost anything they have seen before. I expect Gibson will have had to purchase thousands of season tickets this season... like our owners.

Manwell Pablo Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Can't wait for everything is up and running again but us having a game Saturday is definitely a start. Can't say I'm overly optimistic about the game but even if we lose it'll be better to be moaning about football than moaning about not having any football to moan about.
stevostadium Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 personally i am dreading the season to start............ worst pre season since Taylor, no new additions, no cash to spend, players look unfit, manager lost the dressing room, need i go on 8 games and the clown will be gone.
Callabinho Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 personally i am dreading the season to start............ worst pre season since Taylor, no new additions, no cash to spend, players look unfit, manager lost the dressing room, need i go on 8 games and the clown will be gone. Bolton haven't won a game in their pre-season and are amongst the favourites to go up, we've made one signing but have a squad good enough to challenge for the top six, our owners have plenty of cash but a mixture of bad management, careless spending in past seasons and FFP, we are as are every club in the devision restricted to what we can spend, players look very fit only once have we seen a side that could be considered a starting 11 and that was against a team containing a player worth £50 million, the players all seem happy and ready to fight for a place, no stories of transfer request's and we have managed to keep hold of our two best players despite a number of bids, so I'd say the dressing room is perfectly happy.....and that clown has been the brains behind two survivals, a promotion from league one at the first time of asking, two play off campaigns and laid the foundations for another teams promotion to the premier league.....
fleckneymike Posted 31 July 2013 Posted 31 July 2013 Nothing can ever top the feeling after Bolton at home under Taylor. You knew it was over and yet we still had 37 games to endure. EDITED TO SAY I AM IN NO WAY COMPARING THIS SEASON TO THAT ONE OR PEARSON TO TAYLOR.

EDITED TO SAY I AM IN NO WAY COMPARING THIS SEASON TO THAT ONE OR PEARSON TO TAYLOR. Yeah that was absolutely incredible ..... It was like every player, the manager, and every fan in the ground had just witnessed our balloon be burst and there was a strange acceptance that it wasn't going to be repaired!!
