Dread to think what the #AMF ****** are planning.

They are with da lads wearing their casual clobber like proper AMF!!!11!!! lads.

It's to raise money for Louis' charity and raise awareness for it, plus its a charity based in Doncaster and Louis is a fan.

Don't see how it's making a mockery of football, he will play one development squad match and then will leave the club.

Why do you think people who wear casual clobber talk like that? A bit brain dead aren't you?

Can't see how it's ruining football, he'll not even play a game. It is a stunt, and it's probably worked - we've got a thread on it and people who haven't heard of Doncaster Rovers, probably have now.

Plus it will raise a bit of money for the club.

Can't see the difference between this and signing a University student, which many clubs do.

And in the latest news Doncaster Rovers have made a further signing ahead of the new season with yet another world renowned high profile celebrity joining the squad .....

I'm sure some people on here forget that football clubs are actually businesses as well and that they do need to generate turnover.

All it means now is a few teenage girls will now 'support' Doncaster gain them a bit in merchandise sales etc, which is better then a hike up in ticket prices which affects the real fans.

Agreed. Said this before, many times. All working together to achieve that one purpose, like every business. (Yes, one of my units last year was business :glare:)

Tragic.

I know quite a few people who dress quite casual, and not one of them speaks how you imagine these people to talk  :D

I think you've made it up  lol  lol

How is that 'tragic'? Think the idiot here is the one making the assumptions that if you dress a certain way then you must be thick.

Shall I be the first to pre-empt "One Direction" jokes should Rovers be mired in a relegation scrap come the end of the season.

The Sun probably have the headlines written already.

Come on mate '******' is a bit far.

I get that some people, particularly a lot of those using #AMF at every turn, are bandwagoners who haven't really got a clue about anything, but to cast off AMF as a whole is wrong.

At the end of the day these are people who are looking out for cheaper tickets, fan owned clubs, more money in grassroots, fan organisation and a bit of atmosphere back into our ailing stadiums.

If any of that is mongish then fvck it mate I must be a disabled :D
